Actually that wasn't it. I dunno what happened, but I just asked everyone to re-send their latest turn and I found I could open them all with the old password. Still can't access the previous turns, though. Weird. Well, no great loss, really, being unable to re-visit past humiliations.
On to new ones! Great game. Kudos to the designers! -

I am involved in several PBEM games and my passwod no longer unlocks any of them. I have tried several times with several different SAV files and I know I am typing the password correctly, but after I hit OK, I am returned to the password-entry screen.
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this and might know how to fix it:

:)I am in four good games of AoD at the moment (and just lost resoundingly to Isnogud!), but I am looking for another. Happy to play Axis or Allies. Prefer to play with standard options (including transoceanic loops). Anyone interested?

One more question. I have the Users' Manual that came with the SC:AoD download when I bought the game. It lists the various DEs, but says they are for the "Alliance of Evil" scenario. Are they identical to the DEs in the "World at War" scenario in AoD? If they are different, where can I find the W at W DEs?:confused:

Thanks Amadeus, wish I had known that a bit sooner:o...Can anyone tell me what triggers the Malta reduction of Axis supply event? Is it random? Increased by the presence of an Allied naval units in Valetta?

Does anyone know what happens to AXIS units in Vichy territories after the Axis player gives France an armistice and recognizes Vichy?
ALLIED units are interned (always? or only sometimes?), but are Axis units also interned or do they evacuate to nearby Axis territory, or what?

Thanks Amadeus, Colonel Pasta, and Amona for doing battle. Still looking for one more PBEM opponent. I would prefer to play as the Axis, with standard game options, but I am flexible. I can post about one move per day. Any takers?

New in town. Completely new to PBEM. Love AoD. I can play either side, but would prefer Allies my first time out. I work a lot so I can play one turn per day, max. Live on East Coast of US and will post my turns in the early morning EST. I'm a masochist, but within limits, so I may not always be willing to fight a losing war to the bitter end. Any takers?

Norway joins Axis--what about the coastal garrison MPPs?

Just noticed a possible inconsistency in the DE tree of AoD (most recent hotfix). If the Axis player opts to spend the money for the Norwegian coastal garrisons and then Norway joins the Axis due to Allied action before the Germans do an invasion, the MPPs for the Norwegian coastal garrisons continue to be deducted from the German MPP account. Seems a bit odd, unless I am misunderstanding what the MPPs are intended to be spent on.
If it is a bug, then I suppose the simplest fix would be to just stop the diversion of MPPs if Norway joins the Axis. Though it might be more fun to give Germany the option of using the funds to upgrade the Norwegian military or create a U-Boat base at Trondhiem or Stavenger (a la the Brest DE). Late in the real war, the U-Boat arm tried to set up in Norway (to escape being overrun in western France,) so it doesn't seem like a totally crazy possibility.
