  1. I as well notice infantry breaking very easily. Mind you I havent played for 3 years or so, the v3 and v4 upgrades are new to me.

It has become a nuissance telling a 50. Cal team to stay in position, veteran with +1 leadership espicially when it is the only weapon stopping our company from being overrun. Perfect C2C and the gun is under minimal suppression.

Not only that, but have action squares been gimped? Unlike previous versions when I send Infantry to do a task it feels like im limited to two choices because they go anywhere I order them in a reasonable manner. None of this was an issue pre V3.

Would be nice to PLAY a game then spend all my time reissuing orders to competent soldiers to hold the line. Maybe, fire a shot?

  2. Full squad in big church trying to protect Private Ryan from certain death. Tiger fires at said church killing 1/2 of the squad. Poor remains of squad (including Ryan) ordered to the far side of said church to avoid HE nastiness on the opposite side.

    ...

WTF! what are you guys doing coming back to buddy aid the fallen ones on the exposed side of the church? Are you carrying a white flag at least?!? Damn it. Full squad down the drain. Poor Ryan.

Buddy aid is cool but can have disastrous effects sometimes... It would be nice to a have a "disable buddy aid" button aswell... (maybe there is one and I missed it? If that is the case then I really have to RTFM at some point)

Seems like Ryan is always having a bad day.

  3. I'd love a universal LOS tool unconnected to any unit. One click on any part of the map to anchor the point of origin, then moving the cursor to any another point gives you a readout of the distance between the points and whether LOS is possible or not. One more click (or a right-click) and it goes away.

This may have been requested before, but I'd like this so much that I thought I'd raise it again.

    Michael

This is a very good assessment.
