  1. I have been trying to get myself into the right frame of mind for the release of CMBN. I tried CMSF but it didn't feel right. Looking at CM1 versions just teased me relentlessly. Then I found the right game to get me acclimated for war torn France... The Saboteur! It's an older first person shooter where you play a part of the Resistance running around shooting at things and blowing them all up. It captures the atmosphere and terrain of early war France, including Paris and Le Havre in a way that is truly astounding... and I get to climb all over the buildings. When the Allies land, I will be ready to join the combat again!
  2. I noticed in one of the threads there was a side discussion about several unassuming men who turned out to have been quite heroic during WW 2. It seems that there should be one thread where we can continue to tell and link to similar stories when we find them. So, that's what I would like to start here, a central repository for stories of the real heroes of WW 2; the soldiers, airmen, sailors, marines et al of all countries, in Europe and the Pacific, that did their job and became examples for following generations, even if those generations don't realize it. To start off, here is one example - http://www.52best.com/medal.asp
