i did like you said and went to the game file and checked run as admin instead of right clicking on the exe icon it went to the update screen then launched. thanks again Moon.

well i got it working and my license is activated thanks for your help Moon and others. Now to feast my eyes on the candy Battlefront has given us. "War is a terrible thing but god help me i love so" this game looks sweet!

look everyone i have tried everything suggested in here and the game will not work. my pc is less than a year old. so frustrating.

thanks Nevada, but that is exactly what i do but it still gives me that buy or play mode and we know what happens after that.

i right click on the icon and properties and check compatibility mode for xp service pack 3 and at the bottom to run as admin and still same prob. also my winzip trial is over and can not unzip the file that Moon provided. oboy:(

ya Nevada i have pretty much the same system specs.

tried re-installing the game in as different folder and same. it says i have used all my activations and i just get the play or buy screen if i press play it asks for the activation code again.

well you are not the only one Nevada i am having the same problem. it happened as you described only i have not rebooted. I am open to any suggestions.
