    After watching your video I got curious and loaded up that scenario and tried to do what you were doing. I didn't have any trouble at all plotting a path across that bridge. Your video is strange though something weird is going on.

    Somebody looking for love and attention. :)

    I can see how somebody would think CM1 is less fun than CM2. CM2 is more realistic and less game oriented therefore like war less fun. Of course war can be fun for some but for most it means gore and guts, death and misery. You know the stuff most war gamers block out when it comes to war gaming especially if you numb yourself with substances. :)

    I have a neighbor who often leans over the fence and tells me he likes to play computer solitaire. He says this like he is baiting me to criticize him for playing this game. I say, Dude whatever makes you happy. Your lifeā€¦ your choices. I know you just want my attention. And I will give enough of it to say I could care less with what you do with your spare time. Play away. I'm happy for you.

  4. I got an ATG on a map ( My Honour is Loyalty) that is being a real pain. The gun is quite away's away from my armour and its being stubborn and won't die. Not even sure its functional any more but there is some kind of crew still hanging around it. My tanks can see it but can't shoot at it. :( I have to use an arc or they will keep turning in its direction.

    It will be satisfying when I finally put that thing out of its misery.

    Thanks for the response. I would assume those things too. I can understand why in real life you would put a heavier machine gun up on a tripod. But I was just curious do any of those benefits actually appear in the game. Is there a difference in gun/crew performance between semi-deployed and fully deployed. Any measureable differences? I didn't see anything in the manual and so far a search hasn't revealed anything other than some deployment glitches.

    I used my gun to good effect in the first two Engel maps. I was impressed with the performance both times. On the second map I was given hints by the designer about possible enemy attack approaches. So put the gun in a spot where I thought armour may make an appearance and I'm glad I did cause it bagged a few tanks. I haven't played the third map yet but it sounds like a defend and run scenario. Got to go rescue a big kitty. I'm not sure where to put the AT gun on that one. Don't know if I like the default position.

  7. I couldn't seem to come up with this problem. One thing though when i started this map I left the mortars in their default positions. I did not move them. I tried using the spotters target tool and the arty tool to find bad spots but couldn't find any. I didn't look too hard as switching between these tools is a pain. I found that i could aim and fire over the steeple as long as the spotter had a LOS.

  8. In a recent single player game of 'The Crossroads at Monthardrou' a Panther appeared on my flank.

    I checked this one out in the editor and the motivation is very high on the Panthers. Looks like if these settings are too high then the crew will hang out in the tank for awhile.

    This motivation setting creates Kamikaze tank crews. I imagine the subsystems are eventually destroyed after so many penetrations. Which will render it useless even if its somewhat functional. But having your armour constantly shooting at these tanks is annoying, time wasting and ammo wasting.

    Anyway I'm playing this map. I haven't noticed this part of your post. "there will be units he can see, but cannot TARGET or call arty down on or anyplace near"

    I have been able to so far hit everything I have wanted too. When I get back to the game I will check that out and repost.

    Love the nebelwerfer rockets, I don't think they sound right though. Is this something that could be modded?

  10. I hardly answer the phone any more unless I recognise the number on the call display. I let the answering machine get almost everything. I will call back if I think it's worth the bother.

    I sure as wouldn't believe a call telling me that the voting booth has moved. I would be calling elections Canada to confirm.
