H2HH Helper is great, I wouldn't be without it. It would be better if it started the turns, but I'm happy with what it can do now.

I would like to salute all modders who participated in modding the vehicles in CMBN. You guys did a wonderful job. The same goes for all other objects and units. Very impressive. I know how much time and dedication it took to bring them up to this high level and I appreciate it very much. Thank you, guys. On a personal note, I especially would like to thank Earl of Grey for his outstanding work on the StuH 42 Mid, StuG IIIG Early and Mid. Great job, Earl, you're an artist!

what have you been taught by this game so far?
For me
1. Fear the mortar.
2.German tank hunter teams are mean. 2 men, panzerfausts and demo and TWO smoke grenades, attach them to your pioneer squads and you can then use the pioneer on the offensive in a much more realistic way( they need that smoke cover to clear obstacles)
3.Fear the mortar.
And don't forget mortars big brother artillery. I've had more men taken out with well placed arty than everything else combined.

I kept the bright red cross for badly wounded and used the bright blood puddle for dead instead of the dark blood puddle. It works great. You can see the dead and wounded from some distance now.

I think LOS is better in a tank if the TC is unbuttoned. Once buttoned they are very limited to what the can see.

Thanks Marco, great work mate. I still don't quiet understand the Armour and penetration bars. Why are the partly coloured in and have 'hooks' on them?

I'd say you'd just need discipline.

With CMx1 you can use a program called 'PBEM helper'. It makes keeping track of you PBEM files so much easier and does everything for you, from loading the file, putting in the correct password and sending the next file to your opponent with the touch of a button. The other thing this program allows you to do is to watch the battle as a movie, just like you have described. I've added the link below. I couldn't imagine playing without it.
