    missing graphics issue

    I had this doing quick play as marines (didnt notice any errors until then)

    I reinstalled CMSF, Installed Marines + British, patched to 1.21, same problem :(

    As far as i know its only marines in 'quick battle' that have this issue.

    Anyone know whats up?

    I have Gamersgate CMSF and Battlefront Marines + British bundle.

    *Oh and the doors on Humvees are black :/

    Anyone know a good book on the subject? It's a subject i've just not gotten around to reading about yet, but interests me greatly!

    I've heard 'The bear that went over the mountain' is good, any comments on this?

    First I'd like the soviet perspective, as paradoxically the Mujahadeen view is the most commonly understood in this conflict, I believe anyway. Likely because it's simple - a defensive war.

    Syrian defense camping, is it interesting, or not?

    Are there any plans to incorporate elements from the NATO module in this campaign? Syrian air support vs BLUE forces may not be all that realistic, but it would balance the power for gameplay purposes. It would be fun to see how the Western tanks do against Syrian forces backed up by Mi-24s :D

    Could have some Iranian air? They have some pretty advanced air forces i believe, and its not inconceivable they could assist Syria somehow, at least as a small one time sneaky tactic at least :D

    graphics issues any1 ?

    Anyone else got a bug with the graphics where when the units are cowering on the floor (Afgan gov forces for me) theres a triangleshapped graphics glitch protruding from their side?

    It could be some of my settings, but in CMSF I havent noticed the same issue.

    I can live with it as im more a 'thinker' than a 'drooler over graphics' :D, just curious.

    Tbh this pisses me off at times. I had to request a ticket from another company because i reformatted by pc but i didnt realise i had to check all my games and unlicence before I did! I did get it working easily, but it is god aweful annoying.

    Just venting, love BF games :D

    And currently despite paying for all, I havent gotten around to seeking a reset of my licence for the following:

    Combat mission normandy

    Combat mission afrika korps

    Strategic command 1

    Strategic command 2

    and probably a couple more. Its just a unecessary pain and I have to beg the company for another chance at some point despite paying my bucks for the games!

    Oh and i just bought CMM and CMBF bundle which the licence cannot connect to the server or something. Im waiting to see if it resolves itself or there is a delay on purchase (which i seem to recall) before i submit a ticket ;)

    I suffered a major defeat in that mission despite my depleted squad repelling all Muj advances, but as you said a few lucky rpg's seemed to doom me as I lost one of my two BMP's and half a dozen men. Next time I might withdraw the majority of my force to a better position leaving a token unit hidden to hold the hill. A little gamey maybe but the points system seems so heavily weighted towards the enemy in this mission.

    I'm on that mission at the moment, so far no casualties, but Its close. Im trying to make use of force fire and light fire to pin where i know they are, and i moved my sniper in closer (though they are taking medium fire and are at some risk if more show up)

    First ever Hind flies over and sprays cannon fire all over the place very impressively. Nice, I like that! Second Hind flies over and lines up rockets perfectly down Soviet forward trench "safely" outside the target area... :)

    Bought :D

    Been looking forward to this a while, the demo impressed and the Era is great. Some nice improvements too!
