Flashpoint Gold

So my father got me Theatre of War a while ago and I just got around to installing it but there is a problem... There is no license key in it... I have the case, I have the manual, but the key is in neither of these. I've read through the manual looking for it, I ripped off the sticker on the front telling me to download the patch to see if it was on the back of that but no luck. Was it ridiculously put on a slip of paper and then they forgot to pack one in the case? Whatever happened, I don't have it. So what can I do to be able to play the game?
