  1. Will this fix also address the problem I mentioned in the editor? Attempting to edit an existing scenario generates an error that tells me I need to upgrade my version.
  2. Since support for this game does not appear intermitent at best why not open source this game and allow others who have the programming expertise needed to continue upgrading, improving and supporting the game? I hate to see a truly great game go the way of the dodo becuase the developers have chosen not to continue supporting it anymore for one reason or another. Many old games have been going onto to sourceforge to allow their continuation as open source.
  3. Being a Windows software engineer I can't see how the operating system drivers, or installation could be affecting this specific problem. I think it is a coding problem. The reason why I say this is simple: The three scenarios that are shown are in the same exact folder as all of the other scenarios that are not shown. When a program accesses a folder it normally does so in a wild card manner that show shows ALL files in that folder that neet the extension mask. In this case only three specific scenarios are being shown and no others. This leads me to believe that this is hard coded into the application that if a certain parameter is not met only those certain scenarios will be shown. This is normally done in demo situations. Could the supplied activation code for this specific upgrade version be the problem? PS: I forgot to mention that you can see ALL scenarios in the separate editor which tends to back up what I said above.
  4. I just bought the vista upgrade yesterday. After installation I found the following problems: 1. Only three scenarios show and no operations. I tried just about everything (XP compatibility, playing game as administrator, etc) and was unable to change this. Querstion: Does the activation code I was supplied during the purchase process work to fully unlock the original game? In my test and checks it appears to be a hard coded problem as the three scenarios are all in the same folder as all of the other scenarios that do not show. My guess is that the code I was supplied does not turn the game into the full version and perhaps is still showing in demo mode? The program does not have a standard about box that I could find that shows the status of the program. 2. I was unable to edit the scenarios. Attempting to do so resulted in an error code saying that I need to upgrade my program version to do so. Apparently when the program checks the scenario for version number it is not recognizing that version 1.04 is a good version.
