I found your site by chance, and looking for a free wargame to fill my time I downloaded TacOps 4 demo. well first thing the demo dosnt expire, next I tried not reading just followed my nose, but it was a little confusing so I followed basic training , it the space of 5 minites I was playing ok., the tutorial was excelent no added rubbish just the help everyone needs with a new game. The small icons depicting forces had excelent small fonts representing your forces, this didnt make too much sence until i clicked on info button of a unit the damb broke I was exposed to the massive amount of info and gameplay available, the complexity was hidden from you to start, but got as complex as to what suits the user(let the battle just play, or read the info and get right into the guts of it) This is what I loved about harpoon its simple to learn and play , or as deep as you want to go. the basic graphics was superb, any bells and whistles would have ruined it, when I play soldiers I want to see vast areas and all my troops, this felt like a real wargame, rich in gameplay. Now youve all heard of Harpoon for naval wargaming, In my opinion tacops4 is its equal with Land battles. Im not blowing the Majors trumpet out of some sence of compliment, I tell you now this is one of the all time best wargames you will ever play. I bought it and its worth many times the price, the demo was very good at only 15MB , but when I bought my liecence I got a 330MB of extra content - this was an added suprise to me , photos scenarios and lots of Maps. Its a shame I never heard of TacOps before(why didnt I) more people should know about this game. Thankyou Major I.L. Holdridge, please dont fix anything Mark
