  2. Technically possible, but extremely risky. Not only did it expose the tank's belly, but there was a very high chance of immobilization. AIUI, attempting this was strongly discouraged.

That is not the point, stop making excuses!

I sent a large infantry force over the low bocage, the area was clear, the Sherman would not cross the low bocage.

    It is a Glitch.

Stop making excuses for Real Problems.

The fanbois on this forum do more harm then good. If you don't know the answer stay out of the discussion.

If You don't work for BFC, don't answer for BFC.

Do not excuse away Real Game Problems with pseudo-history you Know Nothing about.

In Normandy in June-July 1944 M4 Shermans did indeed cross low bocage if it was proven clear and safe. Fact.

  3. It's ok to love a niche product and it's ok feel good about it and have fun and enjoy what you are doing and not care what others say about your hobby.

No harm with that wargamers have been doing that for 30 years.

But it borders on fanboy delusion to think that your favorite little niche product is at the top of it's larger market segment "world".

At best you can say it is good at what it does to fill it's tiny little niche, although even that is laughable.

I can make a game about shoveling crap and if it is the only crap shoveling game on the market I can make myself feel all warm and fuzzy about it by calling it the "best CS game ever" that only a few hundred people play.

And I do not believe the "good sales" routine.

Good sales would mean that a large amount of people bought the game and if even a small percentage of those people were talking about it there would some sort of buzz on the net, not just the same dozen or so folks on the niche publishers website.

I really like this game and play it more often then other games (not waiting on WW2 either I like Modern games) but I am a realist.

I like that it is a niche game and that it does what it set's out to do very well and that is has a small diehard following.

But I'll never say that it is the best at anything or on top of the gaming world.

It is what it is, nothing more. When you can deal with that you'll have much more fun.

Had to say my peace, flame me for speaking in reality if you want, don't really care.

  4. Well I am playing only Battlefront wargames the last years. Waiting like a child of CM Normandy and it seems you guys (Battlefront) are at the TOP of wargaming. Only 1 other wargame I play (War in the Pacific (Expansion coming soon)). Am I the only one or are there good other wargames around I missed? Games like Empire Total War (nice game) is is not a wargame for me.

    Congratulations with this achievement Battlefront.

    Wow, were you being serious?

    At the top of wargaming?

There is absolutely no buzz on any wargaming forum about this game. Well nothing positive.

Am I the only one or are there good other wargames around I missed?

You are missing a heck of a lot of great games. I don't want to post links but check Wargamer.com and Gamesquad.com for starters.
