I felt that way with various FPS games. Loved to use other people's stuff, didn't have the patience or time to make my own.
How did you get into game creation then? I thought modding was a natural step in the evolution to game creation. At least that's my take. But I'm just modding stuff. Every game I get my hands on I try to mod it, just so I can go: yeah devs, you got it that way, but I think I'm more right than you!

Haven't seen many British specific games, so I guess it's a bit unpredictable. Doubtful that it'll do as good as MARINES FUG YEAH. You know more than most why everybody does the same thing over and over again.
Worth a try though. I'm guessing that at least some viewers of Ross Kemp's near death expirences will go for this.

Eh. If it has anything to do with normandy in the title it has a lot more chances of being successful. Why are there hardly any big selling eastern front games(cod doesn't count)? Or even movies for that point?
It's a shame really, because the eastern front was far more...vivid, if you pardon the expression, in terms of battles and action.
But eh, what sells, sells.

I dont know about you folks but i cant go back to abstracted Infantry. I am glad that BFC finally went to 1:1 infantry modeling.
1.10 and 1.11 is playable now and it can only get better.
This engine is amazing. I challenge anyone of you to find in the game industry a comparable game that also has a editor built in.
Operation Flashpoint, Armed Assault.
Guessing that games that use editors as 3rd party applications are excluded.
I think Homeworld has one too.

You have my mind in a seesaw, damn it! Yes no, yes no, oh what the hell. I'm not fat, I run 2 miles almost daily, I do a bit of exercise to keep in shape, but not ultra shape, I can handle 5 pullups and 25 pushups(call me wimpy, I know), but I think I could manage...or could I?
But eh, yeah, I guess I'd need to pickup my british passport before even thinking of applying.

Frustrating indeed, but somewhat fun too. It takes a lot more thinking to achieve a good result. A lot more careful planning.

40mm! Just use that and you'll be fine. The vehicle mounted ones that is, mk19s. They'll take care of almost anything.

Yes it is. Also, make sure you point all your guys towards the enemy. Also 40 mike mike is great.

Have you tried using the hide command? I'm unsure if it does anything for spotting abilites, but I'd imagine it shouldn't.

It's probably been mentioned, but it would be nice if the terrain would fade out into a hilly or flat surface, into a distant fog, instead of having that nasty looking background image. What I mean is what you see in ToW2.

but I'm too much of a slacker to actually achieve something. Seeing how I see my stuff as crap and how it just took too long to achieve something decent looking I gave up with actually trying to make a whole mod. I did make some infantry and half the weapons for them:

I tried the left click compatiblity option and while it solved the issue of the splash image background it didn't really increase preformance.

Like someone said earlier, incoming has the right of way, so don't be too brave!
With no disrespect or anything of the like but not having served in any sort of military I believe that a thing like bravery quickly dispells once the bullets start flying around you. The loudest become the quietest, or so I heard.
In any case I don't really know who you are but I wish you godspeed. Also, trust your gut. If it just doesn't feel right, doublecheck everything you can think of. And then check it all again. You can apply that to a lot of things though. Like the milk I had this morning.

I think he means that it applies ONLY to the AI player. So the AI has the bonus if it plays on that side, but the human player does not.
