  1. Yes, I have searched the forums for a similar problem to no avail. I am running the download from BFC version. Yes, I can reinstall everything and would then be able to load the original QBs. However, I really would like to run the ones you developed (for obvious reasons) and I will only be able to do that if I can identify and rectify the cause of the problem. Since both the 1.03 and 1.04 installs were clobbered I do don't expect a fresh reinstall to behave differently. In any case thanks for the response.
  2. I am running version 1.04 on XP pro. I loaded and played a QB last night. Once done I installed the QB maps posted by MarkEzra on CMMods. This involved removing the original maps and unzipping the new ones in the "Quick Battle Maps" directory. I then tried to load a QB and CM:SF crashed to disk. Specifically, all went fine until the progress bar showed 67% loaded. It stayed there for a couple of seconds and then the application crashed to disk. Repeated attempts for different types of QBs produced identical results. I then removed the new maps, put the original files back in place, and tried to load a QB. CM:SF crashed to disk just as it did with the new files. I have no problems loading and playing the campaign or any of the scenarios. I should say that I experienced the very same behavior with version 1.03. I was just hoping that 1.04 would "fix" the problem. Well, it did restore the ability to load an original QB but installing the new ones once again obliterated the QB functionality from the game. I thought the issue may have to do with permissions or file blocking or maybe with my antivirus software (McAfee VirusScan). However, I also downloaded many scenarios from CMMods and I have no problem loading and playing these. The QBs are the only source of trouble. Does anybody have an idea what is going on? Any help would be much appreciated as the new maps from MarkEzra and Mishga sound quite interesting and would certainly add a lot of replay value to CM:SF, at least for me. Thank you.
