YAY!! I cannot wait for the modules and so on...
Going to be awesome fun.

I was thinking of if the squad and the MG both use 7.62 rounds...old RPK for example....
Why two sets of ammo in the display?
Could it not just used one display?
Also, anyone noticed the syrians are really low on ammo? I hope the ammo gets stacked back into the BMP and BTR's in an upcoming patch. Oh and some spare RPG18's would be nice

My oldest is two and the little one is only 5 months old now.
It's a spectacular event to watch them grow.
Enjoy every minute and keep us posted.

I am having great fun with the game...yeah it has issues but they will be fixed...
Once I sussed out the AI and mapmaking I get plenty good QB's with aggressive AI.
My solution to the crawl of death was BTR-60 with a sensible dismount zone...not great but it meant the battles were better.
Like I said before...its only gonna get better.

Are we there yet?

As far as I can tell all the above stuff is being looked at and a patch is due this week.
The QB generator will be a few weeks down the line before it gets some love.

Yet in a home made scenario a few strykers were hit by a massive IED followed by a huge IED and no damage whatsoever.....
The crater would have not have been out of place on the moon yet these guys tyres were only downgraded to the little green x.
But smoke popping blows them out?

Another thing is the 7.62 rounds...MG bullets or AKM bullets? Syrian forces obv.
Squad uses them in place of 5.45 so are they the first indicator on the panel or the second?

I have not seen it make any difference.
No rain option in any month either.
-
I played a whole evening of scenarios I made and still to see a single loot pick up off a fallen comrade.
But I did see an RPG 18 launched several times....first time for that...three strykers less for the capitalist pig-dogs...muwahaha

All you can do is wait till they get back to you
Let us know how you get on?

It must be modelled in then.... Just wish I could see it happen for myself.
True, I doubt Coalition forces would use AK's except under extreme circumstances. Maybe pick up a M110 from a fallen buddy tho....
Are non-sniper MOS guys able to use a sniper rifle? Guess they could?

I am not sure about seperate squads sharing ammo....I am only going on posts I dug up from about two weeks ago. I think if anything it would be your own forces weapons from the same squad and maybe two seperate squads sharing ammo but I have never seen it happen.
Just some folks have posted saying they did....would be cool if it was able to be done.

Good to hear, thanks

Having read back the posts from about two weeks ago it seems this is modelled? I have yet to see it myself but would be nice if it is.
Anyone experienced these events recently? If so how did you achieve it? Obv it involves two squads sharing the same space on the map but is that all there is to it?
BFC comment if you guys are willing?

Lovely map but I think most computer systems just now would not be able to run a battle on it due to LOD issues and whatnot
A real shame.

Toga's are more fun than Turbans

I have to manually target them to get them to fire at a distant squad plus to me all Syrian units below special forces are dangerously low on ammo and won't blaze it off.

For me, my system can handle a bigger map ok but if I put any of the tall yellow grass on it FPS dips to below 10 when looking in the direction of the grass.
Dual core cpu 5ghz overall
twin nvidia graphics SIL
2gb ram etc etc

I tend to use Max Assault for when troops are on the objective, coupled with active and troop dismount.
This means they stay put, kick out firepower and are hard to shift.

How much are the modules cost and how will they be distributed to the masses?
A few questions
