This game really has great potential, right now I give it a C+ maybe B- . imo what it still needs: 1. Visible commanders and or crewmen on unbuttoned AFV's 2. Smoke shells from aFV, artillery, smoke grenades, and smoke dischargers on AFV's (I know its been mentioned) 3. Ability to enter buildings and fight from them. 4. More maps or terrain types in the map builders with terrain found in Italy, Balkans and North Africa. 5. More nationalities and troop types in the game like Finns, Italians, Norwegians, Greeks etc. 6. Troops surrendering ingame and being taken prisoner like they do in Combat mission. 7. Add more AFV's and Guns /weapons not yet in the game. the 88mm Flak gun for example is sadly missing. I know its asking a lot. But things such as these would make this game system outstanding I believe. Maybe they can be put into a "Theatre of War II" I'd buy it.

I'm Not so sure about that, I started a scenario and watched a Russian squad move into a trench as artillery shells were falling nearby. They did this on their own without my clicking anything.

I am liking the uber patch, its a big improvement. So far, one possible problem. I have played 3 scenarios so far and seen about 30 tanks destroyed. Not a single one of them caught on fire and burned. Now maybe its just an incredible streak of non-burn luck, but I suspect not. I wil continue to play and see how it goes.

Someone said turn off the shadows in the setup and that fixed it for them, I tried it and it worked for me too, then I downloaded latest Catalyst drivers 7.5 and now it works ok with the regular optimized .exe. Thanks!

Thanks Battlefront for the patch, I really like this game!! I am one of those that has to use the Tow_1.4.exe, when I launch the game with the regular TOW.exe, I get the menu screen which forces me to make a profile, so i type in the name and click ok, (or hit enter) and it kicks me right back to the enter name box, in other words it doesnt take my name and I have to click "create" again. this repeatedly happens till the game crashes to desktop after several trys. So running the Tow_1.4 i get the nice improvements but it sure would have been nice to get the speed increases, as the game still runs at 8-15 FPS, playable but i hoped for 20-30 fps my system: 3.2GHz PentiumD,ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe system board, MSI/Radeon X1600Xt 256mb graphics card, and using Windows Vista home premium
