I have NVidia 7600GS, E6400 and 22" 1600x1050. Now the game runs OK 99% of the time.

I couldn't find any documents with the patch that stated any new key commands so I'm guessing it's just the ability to assign, HOLD, STOP SHOOTING commands within the options screen.

I remember that there were key commands added in the old patch, but it is not online anymore.
It would be nice to have all the commands in one place in the FAQ, instead of bits here and there.

fil, can you please post in the FAQ all the key commands. I read that new key commands were added in the patches and it would be nice to have them all in one place.

The pathced game is far better than the demo. I read in other forums and discussions that many people form their opinion about ToW from the demo and decide not to buy.
It would be good for the sales if now and then the demo is patched as well.

If you have the Russian ToW v1 you will get a free update to v2. The Russian ToW v2 will be sold as a full stand alone game.

The Russian and the English ToW v1 have the same patch. C1 announced ToW v2.
In the Russian 1C ToW forums there are very interesting discussions between the ToW designers and the community about the v2 features. I was pleasantly surprised to see that, it is not common.

1C announced ToW v2 on it's Russian site
ToW v2 will address a lot of the issues raised in the forum and what is really really nice:
"For (the Russian) owners of the first edition of "The Second World War" (ToW) will be issued a global update, which added a game all of the above changes. Update can be downloaded free of charge from the official site games."
