11 bang bang here. Your not trained in anything. Your idea's are noble but please don't pretend to be a trained infantry man. All foxholes and built up positions are made precombat. They are only used during defensive operation as well. We are training for a new type of war at the moment, but when we were still training for the russian theatre we would bound like you were talking from anything that would give you cover to anything that would give you cover with suppression. With almost every new rts coming out now having the ability to take up position in a building, I am honestly shocked this is not a feature, I would almost consider it standard seeing as how much gameplay it adds. The real issue here is realism. AT guns even today are not snipers, thats why they have snipers. It seems like anything with a large cannon is a sniper with it. This is just unreal. Grass provides no visual cover, its just a pretty effect for you to see. Lets face it tall grass is an effective tool in warfare. Mortors being offmap, ok now this is just totally unrealistic, and i mean that truely. This is probably the single most unrealistic thing in the game. Mortors have always been and will always be apart of the infantry company, they are support but close range ACCURATE support. This game needs a lot of help, I mean I can only play at 5 fps so it needs performance help first then it needs some realism. If they are going for realism then make it real, if they are going for fun RTS then balance it. Either way its none of those.

My only regret is not trying the demo first to see what a load this game is, I mean i just went ahead and bought it thinking that a well defined company like these guys would shove out at least a working game. I guess I was giving them to much credit. Looking at the forums there is almost no connection int he systems having fps problems, it appears completely random if it works for you or not. These are common symptoms of improper testing. I know I won't get a refund, you never do when a game doesn't work and you purchase it online. I'm going back to playing company of heroes, hopefully they will get this pile working so I can officially get what I paid for, even if it is delayed. Thanks for purchasing the number one combo, we will have that ready for you to eat in about 2 months. Sounds silly right, because it is.

First let me say turning off threaded optimization did help, I turned off EAX at the same time so i can't vouch that it helps any. My frame rate is less using 1 core so I leave it on 2, i'm stuck at around 10 fps, with both cores at 100%. conroe intel core 2 duo 2.18 geforce 7900GT 150gig raptor X 2 gigs of gskill ram No I'm not running any background programs, like that should matter anyways. I don't have an anti virus program because i'm not an idiot and I don't download porn and anime full of nifty data miners. Yes i have windows XP with it fully updated. Yes i have the newest drivers for everything. I must say for a game with this low end of graphics I am severely disappointed in the frames. Did anyone test this game before it was released? I mean I have a high end dx9 card, and this is a dx9 game, why would it be making my proc do all the work? I suppose your going to tell me that its my fault though, and I'm doing something wrong. So I ask what is wrong with my system, and how am I screwing up? I also ask that if this can't be resolved, is there a way to get a refund from the online purchase. I figure a refund is a fair request from a product that is released this poor. Btw, from what I can see of the choppiness, the game does look like a fun tactical game.
