  1. Do you see a patch being available for Intel integrated cards?
  2. Hi, I'm having game wont launch problems; I'll preface this by saying that I've updated the direct x, the video drivers, and the service pack etc etc. The game runs the editor - so according to this forum - won't be an e-licence issue? When I try to launch the tow main game the screen flickers for a second, then the resoultion on the monitor changes, to a lower setting and nothing happens. If I try to launch the game again the same thing happens in reverse - flickering, then changing up to a higher res setting. Looks like some sort of incompatibility with the graphics, preventing the game launch. I've reconfigured the tow game to take out all the detail, shadows etc, and tried the one cpu only option. I'm running Windows XP Media Edition on a Sony, dual core Vaio notebook which exceeds all the min specs. The graphics card is an intel one as follows: IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile Report Report Date: 04/24/2007 Report Time[hr:mm:ss]: 15:19:39 Driver Version: 6.14.10.4814 Operating System: Windows XP* Professional, Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600) Default Language: English DirectX* Version: 9.0 Physical Memory: 1014 MB Minimum Graphics Memory: 8 MB Maximum Graphics Memory: 128 MB Graphics Memory in Use: 9 MB Processor: x86 family 6 Model 14 Stepping 8 Processor Speed: 1729 MHZ Vendor ID: 8086 Device ID: 27A2 Device Revision: 03 * Accelerator Information * Accelerator in Use: Mobile IntelĀ® 945GM/GU Express Chipset Family Video BIOS: 1313 Current Graphics Mode: 1280 by 768 True Color (60 Hz) * Devices Connected to the Graphics Accelerator * Active Notebook Displays: 1 * Notebook * Monitor Name: Display Type: Digital Gamma Value: 3.54 DDC2 Protocol: Supported Maximum Image Size: Horizontal: Not Available Vertical: Not Available Monitor Supported Modes: 1280 by 800 (60 Hz) Display Power Management Support: Standby Mode: Not Supported Suspend Mode: Not Supported Active Off Mode: Supported Looking at the forum discussion re shading , I followed the link provided by Rune, and according to the intel site it should support the shading. Any ideas please?
