No, I am not playing any other 3D games besides CM. Freezing may happen about 5 mintues into play. The larger the game, the quicker it happens. It stays frozen and I have to reboot my computer. No, the store did not install anything to my knowledge. Like I said though, before the whole system retore they did I never had one problem with playing CM.

If you read my note correctly you would see I don't have the blank text problem anymore. I'm having a freezing problem.

Hi, I recently had to do a complete system restore because of a bad virus. When I got my pc back I tried playing Combat Mission and the game would freeze in the middle of play. This never happened before the infection. My drivers and everything are the same. I took it back to the store that removed the virus and they updated the graphics driver. But then I was having other problems with the new one like all the text being blank. So I took it back and had them put in the original driver dealing with the freezing issue. I am using: 256MB ATI Radeon X1300PRO DirectX 9.0c (4.09,0000.0904) Can anyone help? I'm not very PC smart so please go easy with me.

Just got CMAK in the mail. Put the CD in and it spins for maybe 30-40 seconds and then stops. It won't install. The booklets says I may have to copy the installer.exe file from the cd to the hard drive. Where do I find this file and how do I do it?

Hi, I'm having trouble getting my CMBO cd to work. It keeps telling me there's no disk in the player when there is. I want to uninstall it, and then reinstall it, but can't find it in my programs files. Can someone help?

Okay thanks. I'm getting seriously held up at places like Uman. It's just a nightmare taking a town that's totally surrounded by Russian units. I too can't see how you can do in 41 what was done historically.

Anybody have some strategy and tips for getting through the Ukraine in 1941? I can't get the southern cities on the Dnepr by the end of the year, even with help from AG Center. I feel I'm doing something wrong. Should it be this hard?

One thing I should have mentioned, I've been playing the campaign that begins with Barbarossa. At this point in the game there seems to be a lot more than 3 allied Destroyers. I just can't get the upper hand in the area of the Atlantic you guys are talking about. My subs are dying like flies. ):

I downloaded the patches to my folder and they were ready to install. Did the winrar unzip them automatically?

So in the end I can unzip these patches without needing to buy anything?

Is this the only one I need for the bundle pack? Also, I never installed a patch before, how do I do it? :confused:

Just got this game recently. It's pretty good, but since when can one Sherman knock out a King Tiger from the front? According to everything I've read it took many numbers of most tank types to kill one Tiger, and could only happen from the sides or rear.

Just a copy I bought on ebay. It didn't come with a box or manual. And I'm just assuming that's what it is since it only has 42 senarios.

Thanks for all the info Pilippe. I do have CMBB and love it. It came with 125 scenarios. Getting more sure won't bother me. As far as CMBO is concerned, even the box it sells in says over 150 scenarios. And I obviously got a pirate made copy with only 42. Was I ripped off do you think? I can always return it for my money. Last question. Does the site your talking about come with instructions on how to upzip and ad these files? Never did it and I'm not that computer smart. ):

I'm not sure what you mean by second-party scenarios. Something I download from the internet? All the advertisments I've seen for this game states over 150 scenarios.

Hi, How many scenarios, total, is suppose to be in Combat Mission Beyond Overlord (special edition)? I just bought the game off of ebay and it only had 42.

Oh god, I hope it's not a defect. Although it is a new computer, I got it in January. It was "build your own" type. I asked for all the best specifically for gaming. What do you think I should do? I'm not that computer smart.
