Well, tnx for replies, My general way in charging a small enemy unit (RPG or sniper) is: a stryker with 12.7 stops at 30 meters (the closer distance is dangerous because of enemy hand grenades through the windows) and begins shooting the main door. After that it pops a smoke to make the squad safe to disembark and charge. A distance of 50m is dangerous because of possible flanking MG fire; then, the stryker cannot cover my entry team with smoke at this range. Hmm, its under my skin, that the general army tactics in clearing the barricaded room (with no civies) begins with a throw of grenade why the covering team does not provide MG fire at front wall, and why the entry team does not throw a grenade..? OK, thanx a lot, i'll try to clear this issue with different ways and post the results
  3. I have got a certain experience that my infantry are always down when charging enemy houses. When i use "assault", the squad splits and enemy chews it one by one. I see that there is no covering fire, when my entry team gets in. That is why it can be killed even by an enemy RPG-team... What tactics should i use, "fast"?   5. Hi dear Devs, I got an edition of CM:SF made by Snowball, Russia (they made two editions: localized in Russian and an original one). The latest patch by Snowball is 1.03, and as it seems they do not run to make 1.05 for legal russian users Men, is there any chance for a 1.05 for my edition? Maybe i'd try Battlefront All-in-one patch..?

There is a lot of 1) mathematical mistakes in armor piercing F.e., miltiple hits to front of PzII with KV1 cannon at 50 meters do not stop PzII from fighting and even morale degrading of its crew. 2) engine limitations F.e., infantry cannot get in buildings at all, cannot dug in 3) historical bugs F.e., when fighting in 26.06.1941, there is a PzIII-J with 60 calibered cannon in the first German wave. All russian members of forum at 1C official site are crying, ugly and disappointed. Maybe the patch will solve these problems..? How very pity that my native developers make so terrible mistakes... We are the winners in this war and should make games dedicated to WWII more accurately and precisely. But CMBB is still the winner.

I know that Z-mask is an ATI term, but is there a similar one for nVidia? Setting Z-mask to 0 had let me magically improve the speed of CMBB... By the way! I m from Russia and I have already got just released Theatre Of War It stands versus CMBB like T-26 stands versus Tiger-B in all aspects... Pity that, but this is truth and ive never been disappointed so much...
  8. Please could you help me to set the in-game resolution 1280x800 ? I have 1024x768 only and it makes my picture unrealli wwwwwwiiiiiiiidddddeee. Or there is an utility allowing me to set the option to center but not to stretch the screen...? I had one for ATI (ATI Tray Tool) but now tiz an nVidia and i cant find any similar tool (nVTray does not suite me - it cannot operate with stretching and centering). Tnx in advance..
