    thungsten IE Wolfram or stuff like that is heavyer than steel and not lighter smile.gif

    btw the drop isnt that dramatic but from like 20-30% to around 10%

    and the drop is at all ranges exept you have such a high hitchance that it doesnt matter if its APCR or AP

    oh and btw the ground attack planes all have HE loaded so theyr nearly absolutley useless against midwar light-medium-heavy tanks

    the Ai in the planes has a priority anyways

    first AP guns then infantry/tanks

    one thing i also noticed was that the KV1E is a bit buggy

    i never got any obvious penetration...

    either the model is buggy that it shows penetrations or the armoursystem of the tank is buggy

    like getting hit by 6 APCR shots of a 50mm pak @ around 90° @ 200m at the side

    or 2 Pz4H 1Pz4F2 1 Panther 1 Hetzer and 1 Stug3G shooting at a Kv1 @ around 150-200m and NO seeable penetration

    im not saying it cant be penetrated... but it somehow is tuffer than a tiger and can absorbe shots it normally would be destroyed by then

    It's almost twice as fast and much better at beating armor! I don't understand!

    Wait I see that it has a 1937 shell in the first screen and 35 in the second but they are both AP so why the big difference and wouldn't a later AP shell be better not worse?

    Ok I figured it out the Shell Mle is for HE rounds and Shot Mle is AP but that dosn't explain why it has a AP icon in the loaded shell indicator.

    but about the tiger and panther discussion ^^

    panther had better FA and weaker side and rear armour

    the 75mm of the panther had better penetration on most ranges

    so imo i consider the panther to be a better tank becuase its the better combination of fikrepower, armour and speed

  5. ok guys.. after playing the russian version some time... i really hope BF does some AI changes

    like bazookas hitting at 250 meters (checked the distance) repeatly (every shot hits)

    also what seems a bit odd are the penetrations that occure

    it seems like the angle the armour is doesnt really count

    the panther has 80mm armour eh?

    well it seems like it 80mm @ 0° and not 55°

    that counts for all tanks ive been playing with

    on the other hand why the hell have my tanks a hit chance of 100% with APC @ 500 meters and only a hitchance of 50% with APCR?

    i really dont understand that

    all in all the Tiger is (in the game) better than the Panther because it's better armoured (in the game)

    as a last note: the game really plays well in early war but its getting more buggy and buggy the later the campaign goes

  6. hmmm just as a sidenote...

    you dont want a game wif super duper über gfx like CoH with the maps, calculation and things like that

    because you would have like 2-3 fps

    even with a 1337 10000$ pc you wont be able to run 4x4 KM maps with top of the notch gfx

    you can choose

    ubergfx and arcardey gameplay

    or realism and good gfx

    also @ kecks just because i registered in august of 2006 doesnt mean i didnt play CM or CC

    in fact i love playing CM2+3 and CC2-5 (well more kinda CM) and im still playing it

    you guys should be mature enough to not bash and flame someone just because he sayd somethign wrong

    ....
