Thanks, but I must be really unlucky, I haven't had a Free French unit yet, and I'm on my 5th game!!

I'm new to the game, so i'm probably just doing something stupid, but after France has surrendered all the French units that I had moved to the UK disappeared instead of becoming Free French. This has happenned in every game. I have checked and the Free French option is definitely activated. Help!

I am a bit of a computer novice, so sorry if this is a real stupid question. I have downloaded the Thrawn mod from cmmod, but what do i do now? I mean how do i integrate it into the game?
