Villainous Bob

i'm having an incredibly annoying problem with the game that i just cannot figure out. it doesn't seem to happen for any specific reason, and i can play for hours with no problem. today, however, it's especially bad. the game shuts down my machine randomly, usually while i'm giving orders. once it's shut down, it tries to boot and shuts down again midway through. i have to let it sit for about an hour before it'll boot fully again. it happened with the demos, and i recently bought the game (for $2! hooray bargain bin!) to see if that would fix it. obviously it did not. i sure hope someone actually still reads this forum and has a solution for me, because i love the game, but this bug is exceedingly annoying.
