  1. I was watching it the other day and noticed something. Near the end of the movie when you watch the supply drop and the one guy goes for a drop and gets sniped. There is a part when a plane is "shot down" and you see an explosion, well if you pause it and look carefully you can see the planes wing tip to the left of the explosion but just barley. Just thought I should point that out. Good movie btw.

  2. So that's why I get my tail kicked almost everytime I play!! But when I thought I saw what you have described about AI and real-time I closely watched one of my tanks respond very quickly to an emerging threat to its rear. It fired smoke at its first target and then began to engage the new threat while trying to escape at the same time. In the end it knocked out the enemy vehicle and began to engage a AT-gun the emerged to shoot at its side armour.

From this I concluded in my philisophical theories that the programmers gave the AI a "rules of engagement", meaning that the highest threat be engaed first to save itself from destruction(just like you'd do if you were in the same situation).

P.S. My tank became one with fire and earth.

Actually this whole topic is my first post here. I did it after watching the video I mentioned for the 10th time(I only have CMAK and am keeping an eye out for the others)so I came registered and posted the idea..didnt know it was 5 yrs. old!?
  4. After watching a video made by some one else about the Escoville Triangle in which he showed every turn, I thought it would be cool to have a feature where after the battle you could watch the whole battle without pause. It would be nice to see what you did wrong instead of going over it in your head trying to picture you mistake and also to see how your opponent reacted to your moves. And it would make AARs easier to do/watch/see.

  5. In the salute to the dead(armour only one) I lost my entire left flank of about 20+ tanks in 2 and a half turns to about 10 German tanks for the loss of about one. Only 6 or so of my tanks(stuarts) probably got a shot off. My right flank units made a try and ended up like their left flank counter parts except they got the lucky shot. After that I had about 10 or less tanks left who could only scratch the paint if lucky.

After that I never tried a tank vs tank battle again.
