  1. Strange.. when I look the German uniforms, they still look like the old ones, can't tell for sure. But I'm quite sure I installed the mod. Didn't AndrewTF have a mod for all german units? I sure downloaded all uniform mods under his name. *edit* I found more uniform sets under other names, which were still from the andrewtf series. Now the German and Soviet uniforms work aswell. 2. If the german hardware is worn out and dusty, then the soviet tanks are rusty crap lifted from the bottom of Volga. But I like the look of them. Rubble at left. Jujus pavement at top. Jujus trench and craters at bottom. I found a mod for all the guns except the 37 mm AA gun. It just isn't there.. Still loking for the rest of the fortifications.. 3. Here's a pic of the mods I've found for the german units. I liked the rusty and dusty vehicles. Something one would expect from a blitzkrieg army after hundreds of kilometers of constant advance and a period of vicious fighting in the ruins of Stalingrad. The guns are quite shiny, but they were the only ones I found. There's plenty of AT-gun mods out there, but not many Inf, it seems. I got jujus factory, pavement(may change), small arms and craters (they might have to go because I liked the original craters more). The undaunteds sky is included. I've also downloaded the unifrorms mentioned. The grainy looking wall you see in that pic might also go if I find a better one. I couldn't find a terrain mod better than the default (this is only my opinion though). They were too high-res. and way too dark. So I decided to stick mostly to the default terrain. I still need to find some heavy and light building mods and the barbed wires and mine markers. I will also check if there are any bunker mods out there. 4. There also seems to be this MCMMM mod manager, which they say doesn't need any rulesets. Which of the two is better and easier to use?
  5. My install is almost clean. I only have the flags and some hidden units markers. Plus I have customized the main menu image and the start music (something I wish to preserve).
  6. I'm really not getting that CMMOS thing. I Figured it would be some sort of a mod organizer/list. But I don't have any idea how it works. I usually just downloaded a mod, replaced the images at the bmp file and thats it WHat the heck are the rulesets I am supposed to download from the CMMOS?
  7. There could be three separate threads for the AAR. One with the Axis AAR (myself) And one with the Soviet AAR (my friend) And finally one for comments in order to keep the actual AAR's more clear. We will aim for similar style and structure in our AAR's. We would both naturally stay out of each others threads until the operation is finished. But this would enable other people to follow the game as it progresses (it will take time to be finished).
  8. Philippe: I tried to get a friend to play this with me. I could still try to convince him to play this at summertime, but i doubt it. It will most likely be against AI, but there will be enemies behind every corner anyway, so what's the difference This map is mass chaos.. **UPDATE!!** My friend has accepted the challenge after all! So you will see a human vs. human game. [ January 18, 2008, 08:10 AM: Message edited by: Lucas -FIN- ]
  9. I made a little Flavour-image at the first post. This will be included in the actual AAR thread too.^
  10. Sounds like a task, but I'll do my best. Still, I hope the high resolution mods wont make it slower..
  11. I downloaded the flag pack.. All my terrain, vehicles, buildings, troops and backgrounds are still default though.
