Yes I do. It doesn't matter if Jan44 or Dez44, Italy or Northern Italy. The additional units Aufklärung Gebirgs and Pioniere Gebirgs are in QB, but the Gebirgsjäger Battalion, which is the core formation, is not.

According to this a further question. The Game Engine Manual says on p.97 that purchase and rarity points are shown in the editor. I can't find them, where are they shown? (I have CMFI with GL and RV Game Engine 4, v2.11) THX Pichelsteiner

Does anyone know what happened to polish villages cities which became Russian after WW-2? Where they renamed as well, or was just their spelling changed into Russian? Well I guess some of them got named after kommunists. And Latvia and Estonia? Where those cities transliterated from their Estonian names or their Russian spelling?

Well, in Germany the transliteration is mainly used when u need a high level of precision and for organisational reasons, e.g. at court. More often transcription(you say the Russian word and write it the German way) is used(as in your case). Its a little more comfortable for the german reader and allows the different kinds of fonts which were used until 1941 in Germany. (1941 declared Hitler Antiqua as "normal"-types) The link leads to a German page, the last list at the bottom of the page is the German-Russian-transcription-System. http://www.aurint.de/Transliterationssysteme_Russisch_Deutsch.htm Britains and Americans know this system as well, but not for militarical use due to the reason that the American transcription is quite different from the British one. The Transliteration codes on the HP dont fit in 1941 because they were developed to be more comprehensible for Anglo-Saxons after ww-II(but they are similar). But there are some special cases. Remember that some cities have/had historical German names before WW-II. Most of them were German when WW2 started. (Stettin/since 1720 part of Preussa, today Polish: Szczecin) (Königsberg ,Today Russian: Kalinigrad. Single cities were renamed for propaganda reasons. (Polish Lodz in German Litzmannstadt/after Gerneral Litzmann of WW1) Some special historical reasons: The German spelled Name Sankt Petersburg was even in Russia used for centuries(though it has never been German). 1914-1924 the Russian spelling Petrograd was introduced. Then Leningrad until 1991 (Today its Petrograd and Sankt Petersburg again). You may find all those names on German maps.

But believe me they don't. Collecting informations via internet is really not a big thing. And it's not so unusual that they search your flat, if the police finds warez with u they'll do the same. I just want to show how important a "German variant" of cmc for all german CMBB-fans is. I don't disagree with the german laws or the methods of the Verfassungsschutz. They have special departements for world wide web monitoring. They are not payed for consuming donuts. Usually they only deal with rightwing Organisations, but they have to check individuals to discover structures. Well how risky is it to use cracked software? Not too risky i guess, but If you keep stuff with illegal symbols on stock, import or export it(this means as soon as u own TWO copies), you will be fined OR you go to jail for UP TO 3 YEARS. And what do you think your neighbours think about you, while the police is searching your house/flat? And as I already said, the broad german majority doesnt't attach any importance to this kind of historical correctness in games. In contrary, the possibility that anyone could feel insulted by this stuff is enough reason to abstain from play games using it. And i think Battlefront prefers to sell some copies to Germany. Well, there are excluses for school, university and history-books/press. But they have never been used in the case of computer games(once for a comic-book). Computer games with such stuff are not restricted to adults, they get completely banned(e.g. Wolfenstein 3D). It usually takes some time until a game is banned, but you risk to be observed by the secret service "Verfassungsschutz" if you play still "legal" games with Nazi-Symbols. Besides there are some good reasons for this. I wouldnt buy a copy of cmc with Nazi-Stuff anyway and i guess the majority of german cmbb customers won`t. Additionally cmc could only become a best seller in the German Neonazi Scene. Which goes together with a bad reputation and a very, very small market. The Wehrmacht Symbols are generally NOT forbidden, cause it wasn't declared as criminal organisation (as e.g. SS and NSDAP). This means you could use Wehrmacht Symbols and maybe offer a patch for coutries which allow the other stuff.

I'm looking forward to CMC, but i ask myself if there`ll be a legal German Version? The problem isn't the language but the symbols which are forbidden in Germany. Plz create an alterative version with legal stuff, language doesn't matter at all.
