  1. Not sure if that is the reason. I ve had HMG fire no problem through and behind walls or in buildings where the wall/windows were clearly above canon height.

    I think bunkers are not treated as buildings are treated as a vehicles, this is the point.

    IICR Steve talked about a bug of a tank commander looking at the wrong direction, this may be applies here too.

    I't sounds like a bunker modeling bug.

    The other bug we are dealing here, ("troops don't abandon bunkers on PBEM games"), tested and it happens to me also only on PBEM. It seems to be a different issue.

  2. May be only sniper teams or detached teams on a sniper task should behave like this.

    "Shoot to a TC from hidden and reveal my position"

    I mean reaveal the position of my entire squad bunched all together to a enemy tank doesn't seem very smart. (Even if it is wroten on my army manual)

    Then if you have not separated the sniper team far enough it's your strategy problem.

    I think that this is an acceptable solution for all.

  3. Hi!, great AAR!, I think Akira is showing the potential of this game (at least this is my hope!)...

    The story continues, now with a nice infantry struggle...

    One HUGE difference I've noticed with previous CM is that now I can spent 5 to 10

    times more watching the recorded turn, trying to catch any detail....pause, forward

    stop, rotate camera, zoom, one second more,...etc,etc... Granades flying, ricochets, going

    to explode anywhere on the map, soldiers giving first aid under fire...and ALL TOGETHER!!

    Men, I encourage all to keep following the ARR. I'm really surprised about how

    things are going, there are "caothic, crazy, reality" events goinig underway that are

    "immersing" (I don't know if i'm using this word correctly) me totaly in to the fight...

  5. Please take comments on what is and is not available in QB's and Scen with a grain of salt. The very best info source is BFC.

    For those of you who intend to play the QB vs AI: So do I. I designed the group setup, pathing orders, time, arty, movement types. Beta Testing has been fun. There are a couple of new design features that were not available in CMSF that have been well received. But I suppose the most important question might be, "will the AI Defender just sit on it's butt and wait to get creamed, like it did when CMSF was released?" The answer to that is no.

    Just How Good is the CMBN QB AI? Still Not as capable as a human...and never will be. But the AI is capable of making a game of it... often a darn good game of it. So for those of you who like the QB vs AI battle: I wish you Joy and good hunting.

    Right, one answer is that "at least" on the Press demo the only "trigger" avaliable

    for scenario design is time. And I "second that" please ask BFC for further information

    on scenario design couse I just put my hands on the press Beta and I've not dig

    enought on the scenario design tool.

    On the other question I'm playin Meeting Engagement QB and I think there are IA improvements

    compared with CMx1, keep following the AAR and may be the IA will give us a surprise!

    I´m trying to get very good Screenshots and follow every tank shot, ricochet, different

    perspetives, personalize the AAR with unit names....

    We'll see whats up with this tought ARMY guys....

    Yes, is a Quick Battle against the IA, so the IA has no "triggers" or anything to help it's

    strategy.

    So it's behaviour it's not very smart (compared to human).

    I don't know if Battlefront agrees with me but I belive that Quick Battles are to play

    against another human.

    Pre-designed scenarios are the way to play agains the IA, Battlefront has make a huge

    step forward here, (we already saw this on CMSF), now scenario designers have the

    magic "triggers" to improve IA strategy, and make really tought scenarios even for

    the "ACE-Players", only time and willing are scenario designer's barrier.

    Why this behaviour?, Why do you link to your web below our screenshots, and not to Santiago's web?

    Why don't you mention www.puntadelanza.net, nor Santiago Plaza on any of your links until asked about publishing rights?

    Why didn't you ask Santiago or any other puntadelanza's moderator before doing this?, may be we would allow you to have done it on our behalf.

    Ok, Internet is free, and our screenshoots are without copyright, watermarks or whatever, but this doesn't excuse your behaviour.

    Please don't repost any of puntadelanza.net contents at least away of your own web, or at least ask us, make links to the original fonts, show any kind of gratitude or thanks to the information source, at the end behave politely.

  8. In second battle "Al Amarah" I,ve got.

    An Stiker going through a building, back an forward.

    Also troops with levitation hability.

    An inmovile striker with troops inside witch

    apparently had no problems, but I can't move it

    and I can unload troops during the whole battle.

    Units that disappear... And this is only my second try on the game.

    I've reading posts and I can't figure this out

    yet.

    Ok, we have 2x2 km map with 4 1x1 km tiles.

    We have 4 flags one on each tile.

    Questions:

    Do we have to put the 4 flags, one on each tile?

    Where on the 1x1km tile?

    or

    Does CMC put the flags for us on the CMBB map,

    just as it does with the troops?

  10. Sorry if this has been answered yet. I find

    hard to review all the posts.

    How CMC will handle combat in CMBB if two

    divisions managed by two players enter in combat

    against another player at the same time?

    I mean the map is divided in squares, so up to

    4 units can attack one at the same time.

    Is this right?
