  1. Editor and "super-elements" sound good to me. By the way I like secrets and mysteries. They keep me guessing and speculating. I can think of lots of flavour objects that we will probably never see in CM2:N but that would give a realy typical flavour. And flavour is so important for WWII and France!
  2. I undestand that CM2:N will be a standalone full game. -Will it come with a mapeditor? And will that have the functions of the CMSF-editor? -Will there be a map-generator this time? -Will it be possible to use flavour objects for cover and will they be destructable? -Will trenches, barbed wire, dragon teath and obstacles of that sort be treated as terrain features (like fence or hedge)? They were used in such large numbers in fortified positions and areas that they often became part of the landscape and were clearly visible to the attacker (expl. by airrecon) and need to be treated differently to mines or bunkers which are purchasable as active fortifications. -and will they be destructable? Hope that wasn't discussed already. If so please excuse my ignorance. Would be glad about a comment.
  3. When will we get US light Infantry Formations for CMSF? Actualy all that is needed is already in Game. Larger squads, Javelins, Humvees with TOW. Whenever I play a scenario with US Airborne forces I have to borrow Javelins and the weapons company from the Marines. Can that be included in the brits module?
  4. Will Infantry be able to ride on tanks? Russians and Germans used this method of transport especialy later in the war.
  5. From the pics I saw that airpower will be visualy included. Will it be restricted to a low flying ground support role? How about horizontal bombing? Recon by air? Will it be possible to give orders to aircraft in the way one gives to ground units? Will only one aircraft at a time appear onscreen or is there going to be some formationflying? With the detail the game puts into small unit tactics it would be great to see airlanding included. Paradropps or gliderborne attacks on bridges (for example Pegasus bridge) would be a stunning feature, or think about ammo resuply by air. Not in the first release of course, but would it be generaly possible concerning the game engine? greets
  6. Thanks for the quik reply! Waiting into the next year for a scenario editor is no problem. Think I'll be busy enough playing the custom scenarious anyway. But please make sure that this replayability feature is not lost out of sight. greets
  7. Thumbs up for going after TOW!! Finaly there is somebody who can teach this baby how to walk! I've been tracking this game for a long time. There is now hope to see it realy going public. A few questions of course and if I've overread the answers somewhere in the forum just tell me so. (1) In the interview you guys statet that it is not clear now if a scenario and map editor will be available with the game. Come on pleeeeease!! Don't let C1 slip away with "but you can buy our next mission addon". What's all the modding (that you said would be possible) good for if I can not create my own "historic" battles? (2) Learning that the battles are rather company sized, please let me know how large are the maps? In the pics the countryside looks endless, but much of it might be a skillfull backgroundpicture. Am I wrong? (3) And last of all, what is the limit for the number of different vehicles pictured in the game. Is there still some space on a wishlist? Maybe with a patch released sometime later? I'm talking about the one that will allow you to enter and fight from buildings. greets
