Thank you for your answer. There are games that provide an API so that the gamer can modify the AI by modifying one or more files that are in plain text and use that API. I don't want to point to them because that is not relevant for this forum. But it is not hacking because it is not a case of the gamer trying to do things that the devs didn't intended to. So I was just asking if something like this was possible in CM.

Are there any non-hacking ways to modify the AI? for example is there a file that one can edit and give scripting commands? I have no issues with the AI as it is (it is excellent!) but I am interested in been able to tweak it for the purposes of conducting some AI experiments.
