  1. Ok, let me apologize.. I did not get "Ripped off"... Obviously these are some of the best games ever designed, and well worth twice their price. I just feel like I coulda saved money, and saving money is always good.. Hehe
  2. I buy Combat Missions2, then CMAK this week.. Then CDV releases Combat Missions Anthology with everything rolled into one for $34.. Even though its import, theres a half dozen import stores here in the US that are selling the Anthology. I feel taken yet again by this friggen lame gaming industry.. You do the right thing, and buy something, rather than pirate it, and get BURNED because of these battle-packs and crap that get released.
  3. As far as I know, Littlefield is absolutely maticulous in reproduction, including original units.
  4. Check this out, a nearly prestine Panther tank recovered buried in the muck in Poland. Its being restored at the famous Littlefield Museum. http://www.mishalov.net/military-vehicles/pictures/img_1906.html This museum ROCKS by the way... http://www.milvehtechfound.com/ Check out the mint condition Matilda.
  5. Holy crap thanks for the link.. Just figured out a cool and different gift for my sons birthday... I'll take pics, and let you know how it goes!
  6. A couple weeks ago I ordered the game + the Companion Book, and have to say, it was the best $50 I spent in a LONG time. For the price of an average normal retail game, I recieved the amazing CMAK and a very very impressive book to go along with it. Stunning! As for the book, its a page turner.. I have longed for a book more focused on small unit combat, and after reading nearly 100 war books, you begin to realise that there just aren't any! This book picks them out, and puts them in a concise format, that should be required reading for war book fans. CMAK is a jewel that many just don't know about. Since it never landed in retail chains, your "Typical" gamer won't even know it exists. In addition, i'm amazed at many old fans of the original CM that actually don't even know CMAK exists! Well after a couple weeks of hammering away at it, you can be sure i'm talking about it to them. Thanks for making great games, and to Tom for putting together a great companion.
  7. I fully support direct sales, thats why I was asking... In fact, i've been a strong proponent of digital delivery as well.. I don't need a box, and I don't like paying a premium to get a box. Just let me click a button, enter my credit card, then download the software. =) Either way, direct distribution makes sense, publishing companies, as a rule, suck. Back when I had my software company, with 100+ products, we used direct distribution and digital delivery and it paid off big. Not paying mafia money to publishers makes sense. I wish more companies would do direct sales, much less digital delivery.
  8. I can't find CMAK at my usual haunts, Ebgames, Gamestop, etc. Is it only available via direct purchase? Regards
