    Ok! I got around the problem with the corrupt files too. I noticed each time I reinstalled that it was a different 2 files that had errors so I backed up an installation. Reinstalled and then just added the two new corrupt files from the backup installation, giving me a complete set. @no_one: You are correct, the wind sound effect does add a lot to the atmosphere.

    I cant extract them from the CD because they are corrupt (From the CD) I could return my CD but it seems such a hassle for two files!

    Hi I just bought this game today and I was wondering if someone can tell me if I need to install the V1.12 patch or not? Also when I installed the game, there were two corrupt files.....837.BMP and 00005003.WAV. Is there anywhere I can get these files as they are missing! The game works ok so far, Im just worried as to what will happen when the game needs these files and they arent there.
