  1. "I think that it would be a good idea." -Gandhi, when asked what he thought of Western civilisation. Game, Set, and Match, gentle(wo)men.
  2. Now THERE'S a soldier! =oD Get that kid a helmet and a pair of pearl handled revolvers!
  3. Sweeeeet. Young blood to prey on...I mean...new generations of war gamers...awesome. =O)
  4. Well, doesn't matter anymore. I ordered the next two from Battlefront this morning. Kiss my winter term goodbye!
  5. Beeeeyooootiful Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, home of the second biggest Oktoberfest party outside of Germany in the world, so I'm told. I'm usually too busy watching the baseball post-season to notice.
  6. Average age over thirty? HA! At 22, I'm practically in diapers still then, I suppose. Has CMAK been released commercially the way CMBO was? I bought CMBO at an Electronics Boutique...do I order CMAK from Battlefront or CDV?
  7. Hey all, I'm behind the times, just got my claws into CMBO a week or so ago, and holy flippin' heck am I hooked. Not such a great thing to happen during exams, but I figure, I'm a history student, and this is history. =O) Anyway, I have to say, from browsing through the posts and the archives, I'm impressed by the community and the quality of the posts. Looking forward to meeting some of you over the time it takes to wreck my school year while conquering this game. Take it easy, Quietone
  8. Thanks, Wicky...I realized my problem; I'm an idiot. =o) I had problems with text formatting on my initial boot-up, so I went ahead and installed the v 1.12 patch on CDV's CMBO...which causes all the problems. Duh = me. Now, here's another problem. I can't replace the files as suggested by Schrullenhaft off the CD, as when I try to search the CD, the only file WinXP recognizes is the "install.exe" Am I stuck deleting the game and re-installing? For some reason, the install process took almost an hour on my 1.2 ghz Athlon w/ 256 RAM...More accurately, the install process took only a few minutes, but the CD seemed to just spin and spin for twenty, twenty-five minutes before the Install program box popped up. I'm fairly illiterate when it comes to tech issues, so if someone sees something hilariously stupid I've done, I'd appreciate the smack-upside-the-head. Thanks, all.
  9. The subject line says it all. I've installed the game, applied the patch, and now, the game doesn't recognize the CD in the drive at all. I've checked the compatibility issue, and that's not the cause. Some help please? I've been waiting ages to play this game!
