  1. I don't think there is many "must have" mod with CMAK. Most of the graphics that came with the game are nearly perfect.

    If you have a censored version, you should start by getting a mod that puts the real German war flag back in the game.

    You can get Ed "Tanks a Lot" Kinney's bunker mod which replace the dull looking ones that came with the game.

    Then you can get AndrewTF's Fallschirmjagers uniforms. They look a lot better than the original ones.

    The cost is relative. If you play with rarity, the MG34 will be more expensive in the late years.
  3. I enjoyed playing as Italian so far. The 45mm and 81mm mortars with tons of shells are great. I haven't found any good way to use for all the Italian armored vehicles. Their only advantage is that they can make enemy tank commader burst out laughing, which is the equivalent of "shaken" status. ;)

  4. I don't understand why some people complain about this. CM already gives us more control over the battlefield than any general could ever dream of during WWII. Sure, it's hard to spot some elevation and judge where the enemy can't see you, but on the other hand, you can zoom out of the map to get a global view of the battlefield. If the game was 100% realistic, we would be forced to stick to the level one view. ;)

    Also the AI needs some tweeking when it comes to target selection. We all know that a WWII tank gunner often used bracketing to get the proper range and azmuth to his target. In CMAK I constantly see my tanks switching targets after 1 shot is fired, negating the accuracy of his second shot. This just isnt how tank gunnery was done.

    What also bothers me is when a turret rotate all the way to fire at a target and right before shooting, it switches to another target and starts rotating in the opposite direction. This is especially frustrating with slow turrets.

    It must be post-patch because I never noticed this before. The bug is more obvious when the crew has a m43 field cap. It doesn't always happen, but I've seen this 3 times since the patch.

    And I do spend a lot of time down in the mud with my troops. What else is there to do while you wait for your opponent to complete his orders? smile.gif

  7. I don't know if I'm the only one who experience this, but my hotkeys options keep changing on their own. Everytime I start a new game, things like smoke, weather, tree graphics, 3 men squads or ambient sounds are never the way I left them. I have to put them all the way I want in almost every game I play. What's the cause of this?

  9. I've noticed something weird about my German sharpshooters. They seem to be able to fire SMG burst at enemy soldiers that are close to them(below 50m). I've seen this at least three times; You clearly see the tracing bullets and you can hear the SMG burst sound. The sharpshooter's doesn't use his 10 ammo points when it happens and it doesn't seem to give away his position.

    What's up with that? Doesn't see to make much sense to me.

    Seriously, What does penetration actually means? Will the game engine say "penetration" even if the round only made it half way in the armor plate or does it mean it went thru the whole thing?

    I played against RPK and his bazookas were getting penetration 75% of the time on my Stugs from a 30-20m distance, but it was the front armor. I think that's why they were not knocked down, but only shaken.
