No. Fnord is nonsense phrase that was in the Illumnitus! Trilogy. All though I'm a regular at the Paradox boards(the makers of Europa Universalis and Hearts of Iron).

When fighting in trenches I thought it might be possible to send infantry squads in to one end of the trench and and see if I can kill the enemy from his own trench. Will that work? Or do you get a still get a bonus to concealment and cover when fighting infantry in you the same trench?

I had purchased CMBO when it became Retail in the states June and now I have CMBB! It seems to me that this game is bit harder then Beyond Overlord because of the increased effectiveness in small arms and mchineguns. You folks wouldn't be able to give me some tips on how to take out Infantry in trenches?

Just a note. Cost should not be included into the equation. American labor was much more expensive then Soviet labor. If they wanted too, the Soviets didn't even have to pay their workers.

A map I just played on the Retail version last night, Called if Frogs had wings. A slow grinding march across the map with about every time defense in the way. It was bloody!

I bet you guys see a post like this once a week or so, but I just have to say it. I've been salivating over this game for well over a year when I first played the Demo. Sadly I don't have a credit card and thus find it very difficult to order things online. But now with NA release of Combat mission I've finially been able to pick it up. The game is fantastic! It's even better then the now venerable Steel Panthers. The Unique method of Turn-based movies makes battles much easier to understand. Thanks again!
