There needs to be a new option for infintary. An armor or infintry priority. I had a whole pioneer platoon rush up a hill to attack one BT tank on the opposite side of the crest. Every squad used all thier anti tank munitions on a single tank. Granted it was utterly destroyed but i wasted about three satchel, 8 panzerfaust and countless gernades on one vehicle. What a waste.

What exactly determines command ranges? for exmple i had a platoon in a large heavy building and a squad in the lower left corner was uncommanded while a morter squad in a wooded patch 15 meters behind the building was commanded?
The platoon leader was on the to floor tword the front of the building. Is this right?

What combat mission really needs to top it all off is more ambient sounds like in close combat. Birds chirp, dogs bark, flies buzz over over dead bodies, sheep.....bahhh??....during periods of inactivity. Can a mod be made for this? :confused:

Is it just me or are pillboxes killed and identifiyed way too easily?

would it not make sense also for the crew members who are not killed, specifically the commander, to take command of an undestroyed tank. :confused:

What exactly is the use for radio cars? Iv'e heard that they can command vehicle platoons that have had thier commander scratched but when i move a car near the uncommanded or red units they do no such thing. Any one know what they are all about?

If that were a better option then they would use it. Obviously there is some reason that all the R&D produced the fire and control system the M1 has.

In episode 9 of band of brothers there is a moment when German prisoners of war are marching and are flanked by american jeeps, carriers, ect.
Several german officers are in a carrige and one makes a few comments. Does any one know what he is saying? i imagine it has something to do the american mechanization but im not sure? anyone know? :confused:

The BattleBooks series is great. It does'nt readlike a novel, it reads like a debriefing.

There was no real difference between field based armament and sea based in reguards to lethality. The real difference came with the barral legnth and the amount of charge, both increased. Sea based fire is also more constant and a ship has many more rounds to expend than a unit the field, not to mention a lessened counterbattery threat.

I dont know about anyone else but on my game when i move my curser over a building it tells me what type it is.

Nt only does it take longer for your troops to get out but they are also more vunerable to taking damage from HE blasts than on the first floor.

I would have to agree with rex that this occurance is a strech. Most soviet officers were educated and possessed id charts of german armor. And it seem that with all the posts on this site that have to do with realistim qustions and such, there is always a post that says.....A great many were completely illiterate, so even a guide would have meant nothing, as the words under the picture/drawing would have been incomprehensible... Do we really think that battlefront took into accout a soldiers literacy....in vehicle ids',no they did'nt. It's most likly a f*** up in the game. Lets face it, no program is perfect and as we all know there are parts of the game that are messed up but just part of the program and engine.
