They are LRPVs (Long Range Patrol Vehicle). What are those vehicles the Aussie S.A.S. is operating? They look like cutdown 6x6s, or some suchIMO a LRDG type of force doesnt hold ground. Instead they provide eyes on the ground over an extremly large area. They can conduct a variety of tasks "hearts and minds", raids, road blocks.
They are a force multiplier, they allow a small number of men and equipment to influence a large area allowing the normal formations to be concentrated in other places.
I think it is a bit of a gamble by the Brits as normally this task is done by elite troops. Can a standard regiment perform as well?

Blind speculation #5.
Battlefront is waiting for E3 to tell the world that CM:SF is in beta. With lots of cool pics and gameplay vids that carefully skirt arround current gameplay bugs

There is a feedback form on the DiF web page. Reporting bugs there would seem to be the best place.

If I wanted to put an ATG into a house I'd just order the NCO in charge of the gun to do it.

Vissited the Museum today after dropping my brother off at his baracks. It was a rather hot and sunny day so the light contrast in some of the shots is a wee bit high Enjoy the pics.

Sentinel, An aussie design in the early 40's. The ammount of slopped armour on this tank surprised me for when it was made.

If I had to guess I'd say he was the Scots Greys charging to glory on the fields of Waterloo.
