Hi everyone, I'd just like to introduce myself as a newb and I love CMBO. Anyways, now getting to the point. I recently played a scenario I designed to test effects of artillery and my skills at taking a town in addition to more accurately test the different equipment I had on the Allied side. Almost near the end of the battle, I managed to kill all of the armour except one green Jagdtiger and one Tiger I. The Jagdtiger was rendered inoperable as a result of arty but the Tiger, however, was more of a threat as I was moving into the town. My last contact indicated it was heading towards it as well. I had M26 Pershings as well as Super Persings on my side as the heaviest armour. One of my Pershings engaged the Tiger at 30m distance inside the town and basically slugged it out. I had several hits as did the AI but the Pershing was knocked out after numerous rounds and about 4 different internal armour flaking messages. needless to say, in addition I lost another Super and finally my Jackson KO'ed it. Why was it so hard to kill? I was a little dumbfounded after that. Anyone else deal with this??? [ April 16, 2003, 11:21 PM: Message edited by: Norse_Fury ]

Being a newb, I've never had the opportunity to do a pbem game, but I would like to try one out. I'm open to pretty much anything....I blow up pretty good
