  1. yes, the 15th PG was indeed an "elite-unit" more info may be found on http://www.feldgrau.com/ and: xwormwood and I are NOT living in the same city - nor the same country. it just happens that the 2 of us speak german [ March 20, 2003, 05:43 PM: Message edited by: H.J. von Arnim ]
  2. Hopefully not - but I do not know....Besides: It's just you and me (and maybe a few others) who understand what's written there.... Schönen Gruß nach Bremen
  3. Why not expanding the map also to include Japan (as a member of the axis which it historically was) to sort of take care of the US and/or Russia ? That really would be interesting as there were lots of seabattles between Japan and the US....
  4. JerseyJohn, glad I could help you... Enjoy your day !
  5. Guys, concerning the evacuation of the "Panzerdivision Hermann Göring" from Sicily to the italian mainland you are talking about "Operation Lehrgang" (commanded by General Hube). Nearly 2.000 AA's secured the movement of the soldiers. More informations can be found here http://reformline.de/fallschirmtruppe.html (page is in german)
  6. To all SC players from Europe: What about creating a rank-system just for us ?
  7. Thanks to all of you for your comments Maybe is was really just "bad luck" which is not that important anymore since I've won the war....
  8. No, his corps had no time to entrech as it was just bought and placed right before my attack.... And yes: My troops were in good condition before this attack - not afterwards
  9. So, here it goes: When playing via the "Hotseat" option as axis I saw this: My opponent bought a new russian corps and placed it near Stalingrad. I attacked this new corps (strength 12) with a HQ, 2 tanks, 2 airfleets and 2 corpses (all german) and was not able to even reduce his strength. All my troops had already experience but nevertheless lost strength. This seems really weird to me..... Explanations ?
  10. So, I'd like to know how I can modify troops for a specific country ? Problem is when I activate Italy (for example) and remove one army and place two coprses I am not able to de-activate Italy any more and when I then start this modified game in 1939 Italy is already at war.... Is there a way of modifying without activating countries ? Thanks in advance for your answers....
