  1. well i made a operation with a 10 battle 45+ turn,

on a 15 SQUAREKILOMETERS[the honorable, ywxspoon did this calculation,i didn`t notice smile.gif ], [biggest i know] of artwork-map(noQB), where you are able to have an realistic go-ahead-assault..with moving around the mgs, sneaking the field-posts..etc.. unlucky, my english to bad, my playtester-search topic ain`t the pulb i expected(wished) it to be...(only for outbalancing the forces/so the scenario-depot delievers it finished..)

    do you a fvour

mail me, i mail you smile.gif

  2. titel: Fridericus Fiction

    type: axis advance; semi-fictiv

    date: Mid-May 1942

    location:Izjum (?Isjum->German) - corner

    [Doneskij]

    region: south

    weather: good

    terrain: wet(dries)

    turns: 10 battle 45+ turns

(so you have the time to game a real assault,

but it is quiet likely, you won`t have use it..! pc-friendly -> NO-1-GIG-NEEDED!!

recommended play: axis-ai,2player-russian side is expected to be more tricky...

backround: "Timoschenkow"s armies(6.&57.) head west, marching onto charkow. The bridgehead their advance`s southern part started from, earned in the winter-fighting, was planned to be attacked by the germans. This should start at the 18th of may, at the 12th, the soviet march began..

    the german operation "fridericus", had two main parts. the northern wing->6th army ,and it`s southern->1.Pz(Tank),17th army. The northern part was under heavy pressure, at many places, more they could take..as they also had to stop the sovjet`s northern forces;

While Timoschenkows 9th Army guarded the donez-river, the two moving to charkow, saw their supply-lines and flanks become longer and longer.

At the morning of the 17thMay, fieldmarshall Bock ordered the southern wing(v.Kleist), to attack north. thereby they followed close to the early plan, but thistime not to seize the bridgehead, but strangle the russian armoured fist. A "Dürnkirchen" was in the air..

and there you are, taking command over one, of the three battlegroups from the 16.Pz.(tank) Division heading north, aware of the russian bridgehead`s defence, you`ll have to hurry to repell the desperate armoured attemps, you have to encounter with. anyway your the one in advance, your the hunter, not the prey...

you`ll sure like it. email to:

  3. i`ve done a "great"(in any terms) operation, and i

need it playtested by other then me..

(it has the potential to become an all-known!!)

it`s 10 battle 45+ turn and there alot of units involved,.. but REALLY it`s pc-friendly(no-1gig joke:), meaning

the whole time limit doesnt have to be spent, and it is also not likely all forces appear..

Well i had some "gorgeous" comments(even one:awesome!) of some of the cmhq-cracks..,

but they have not the time to do more the have a quick lock..(snif), and i would lose the rest of the `lill recognition i got there, if i bother them ONCE more..(i fear, so)

Isyum(?,Isjum) corner of the southern frontline, armoured drive to Izjum south-west outskirts(?)

axis advance, weather is fine, but terrain starts wet..(will dry), MAY-17th to 18th-1942...(designed for Axis vs. AI, although the russian-side is for the experienced,2players-possible)

what shall i say: drop a request-mail at

    digutschh@aol.com

and i send you a copy.. IT`S REALLY FUN, I SWEAR!

  4. Wittmanns-Bocage! (Subtitle: Tigers in the chicken yard!)

When i played this op, i almost always spent most time on the first move.. as mention above, you have on one hand,TIGERs with the chicken, and on the other, these cromwell and fireflys that push you easely back to PUSSY. So my point is.. make it a yard!OUTER YARD: think about one or two tigers, throwing smoke at the end of the road. They will try to get into shooting positions to help the halftracks, there your barrel lurk IN YARD: Make each tiger a list in mind, which target is number one, which is two..and so on..

oh, and use your infantry in the township like little fork you peak into the rear of the brits-tanks,.. at the right moment, they will target the infantry first, or search cover against your backstabbing...this can save a tiger!

(at least, don`t give well-expierenced units to much orders! they made sometimes the best moves(fatality-moves!!!!) when i shut my mouth and let them do...and.. think alike a rotten wolf pack..you`re the hunter, not the prey!)

  5. yep, V-Waffe is right,

to reach your goal: make a static map, remind that you chose only the height/length(depend which directions N-S, W-O) and so don`t make it too big, BECAUSE, both former "starting-positions-at-map-end" must be inbound..(as follows:)

i tried what you want, but had to drop the idea, cause my map was too big, so i could only see half the planned fighting area in the middle of map...but for you, to place a map that moves both directions..in whole-battle-turns, isn`t possible as far as i think(cm wasn`t made for this, and this high-mobile-movement battle without clear difference between offence and defence is as i know the way of fighting of our times..not WWII )[PzDiv haben auch nen Marschbefehl,..eigentlich..hehe..Nachts um halb eins..!] :D

  6.

Where does a poor user of the german version finds the rest of the manual....

    and,

was it an illusion i was (after lot of click here and there [i have no pc-knowledge]) able to see a fog in cmbo with my ati-radeon(once then major malfunction)...

IS THERE BY NOW ANY POSSIBILITY TO SEE FOG BY ATI-RADEON???
