Ever play any APBA Baseball?Close, but not close enough. I'm from Lancaster. -
I would go with CMBO...they both are great but I would start with CMBO. If you can afford it you should purchase the two game bundle.-what's the best deal for a novice CM player? cmbb or cmbo? -

This is still the grand forerunner and will always be...to me the graphics are secondary. The game model is very life like and still very enjoyable and realistic to play. :cool:I can see that CMBO is suffering in terms of graphics and other limitations that will make it inferior to the experience one will be able to get from CMBB. -
1. Most people that play CM know and realize the importance of lend lease.Originally posted by Schoerner:1. If the USA didn't help Stalin out, Germany would have won the war in the east. It's quite amusing, how the enormous amount of the land-and-lease deliveries are ignored.
2. Hitler didn't want to attack the USSSR at that time, but was forced to do so (due to the soviet troop concentrations on the eastern-border).
The conclusion, that Hitler didn't learn from history is just ridiculous: only very few politicians had the same historical knowledge (not a single one of the capitalistic party-politicians) and Hitler stated several times, that Barbarossa was the hardest decision of his life. Why, oh why, if the schoolbook-propaganda is right?
2. Read "Mein Kampf", Hitler had every intention of invading Russia...for "living space."

I'm interested...e-mail me.

A most important bump!

Looks great Marcus! Thanks for all your hard work, it is much appreciated. I look forward to your future mod's. I play more CMBO than CMBB...they both are fantastic!

Thanks Sergei...I bookmarked it!

Sounds great, but no support for LCD's

It's on page 217.Originally posted by Stacheldraht:Could someone please tell me where to find the rules about orders for ski troops in the US version manual (movement, hiding, when they take skis off, etc.)? Since there's no proper index in the manual, I can't find that info
Thanks.

AOL will be sending you a DVD case for your CM disc. You should receive it shortly. </font>Originally posted by Pvt. Ryan:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by wings7:
I was a little disappointed that there was no container box, or even a slim jewel case.

When you reply to a message it is automatically refreshed to the top of the forum. So something like Soddball's FAQ which should be veiwed by all is regularly "bumped" to the front of the forum so it does not become buried on older pages. Rather then reply with something uncool like - I'm replying to this message so it is moved to the top of the forum - we simply say Bump!Originally posted by MG-42:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by wings7:
OK, here is a stupid question...what does "bump" in a message mean? I did a search but did not find a clue.
Hope that helps
MG
p.s. Bump!! </font>

Ditto, Mike...fantabulous!!Originally posted by Nick Schieben:Mike, This looks incredible! The mod work alone is excellent (and many, many thanks to the authors) but the way you've put it all together, and obviously the time and effort you've put in, is just amazing. CMMOS rules!

Ah, some of the little surprises that awaits us all.

Also try East Front II (Campaign Series, Talonsoft)Originally posted by TerrorX:I was just curious if there were recomended battles and or operations that would span the entire Eastern Front from start to finish, whatever year it would finish would probably depend on who was victorious or not. Ive been away from the game for a bit so excuse this post if it has been answered elsewhere.

I second that one!!Originally posted by AstroCat:I would love to get a hold of a .wav file list.
I hope that someone is able to release such a list for us to use!

The day I've been waiting for has arrived. A few points to be hashed about.
1. Shipping started on the 11th...only 2 days from VT to So. California...bloody outstanding!!
2. The manuals are written superbly, you guys did so well with this!
3. The game speaks for itself (I've only played the CMBB demo, but I can see that this game is
above all the rest!)
4. I was a little disappointed that there was no container box, or even a slim jewel case. I do
understand economics of this, but then again for $65 you would think...
5. Overall this incredible game will change my life forever!
Thank you everyone...you have a customer for life!

Rex_Bellator, thanks for the link to the Soviet poster site, fantastic site!
Are you a rodent strangler or a trick taker?
