  1. hmm this sorta bums me out.. my TI 4600 fan I think is starting to give.. I haven't tried to.. but I don't think I can safly remove the fan without damnaging the card.. so in short I was thinking of getting a 5900fx but a lot of people are swearing on the 9800 pros.. but if I am unable to play CM in all it's glory then I think I will have to stick with Nvidia.

  2. 2005 will probably be the earlist you begin to see 64 bit programs coming, particularly games. Even then, many companies will probably continue to make 32 bit until 2007-9. Intel has made a 64bit processor for years. We have serveral itaniums(Intels 64bit) at work. And there is a 64bit version of windows. I don't see why people are wetting themselves over them. I remember all this hype when Duel procs was all of a sudden the cool thing and the wave of the future years ago.. how many games have been designed for duel proc machines? The 64bits will be nice but I wouldn't run out and buy one right now or anytime soon unless you just want the cool factor of saying you have one.

  3. iirc correctly destroyed tanks do not block LOS or provide cover.. I remember a thread about this awhile back.. I think it had to do with limitations of the engine?? I think it may be something they add in the future.. Don't quote me on that..

    Recon and morale..no idea

Tank not returning after hunting.. unless you you told him to reverse at the end of the hunt command 99% of the time they'll sit there until you tell em to move or they are KO'd

  4. I had mentioned doing a PS companion to gautrek

tutorial he has coming out. This of course is sort of on the side as I just started school full time and in the process of trying to find a part time job now. so it leaves me mostly the weekend to work on it.

I just finished my 1st mod using gautrek tutorial and am in the process of putting final touches on it.. Though his was geared towards PSP as well I used Photoshop to do it.. Both program are nearly the same as far as the tools go..and for what is different you can actually use the help function and locate the PS equivalent. I hope to have something worked up by this weekend.. depending on Homework load.

heh good luck.. I haven't had much luck trying to convert already camo'ed vehicles to a mono color.. even following the couple Tutorials out there.

Because the game was made with Historic events and timeline in place. Sorry if you don't want to hear it but thats the way they made it. If you want it to be "even" then you need to change the force mix to unrestricted, and ME. I don't understand why it's that big of a deal? It gives you what you want, both sides starting with same number of points in each catagory..

  7. lol hub

"What amuses me are people who holler," What a crock, everyone knows the Mk VI Hupmobile has 12 rivets on the side, not 13!" Yet a lot of these same people then proceed to play using "inspired tactics."
I had written up something saying almost the exact thing but got distracted then closed the window by mistake. I have been fairly lucky in my games .. I think I have had only 1 game I would consider "gamey" (not that I have had a ton or anything.. but a decent ammount now) I tend to stick with more historical(realistic whatever you choose to call it) choices.. the best way to get the games you want, besides talking about "rules" before is set it up yourself.
