[Black screen on startup (CMBB)]

Well, i get the same bug and I think it is a known bug with many GeForce4 and newer drivers. Search a bit in this Forum or trie following (its how i solve this problem):

This problem occurs only for the 1st time u start CMBB. He tries to find a resolution to play with. So when you get the black screen, try to click around the screen (even if you do not see anything It worked for me several times (last time yesterday when I re-installed that game
