  1. As there has yet to be told, I believe there is a chink in the armoured columns of Hittler. If you use an ordinary squad of rifflemen on a tank, it takes ages to destroy( even if shooting from behind). The chink is the fact that tanks have fuel lines and fuel tanks that can be hit. Usually they are atop the armoured beasts, but for some reason, these tanks have no fuel connections. Is this an immediate plan to stop the easy destrustion and sway the tide of war in a different direction? " A soldiers best friend is not his gun, but his courage to be where he is."
  2. Mace, I really want to criticise you, but think I should not, as it is wise to avoid conflict over nothing. And just as a question, do you know what I meant abiut Hittler having a brilliant strategic mind?
  3. Has anyone ever had some soldiers M.I.A. I had a whole 3 squads M.I.A, and No they were not killed by sharpshooters or tanks. It seems as though the game might have its realism after all. Soldiers go missing in action all the time, and turn up alive. The only thing thats wrong is THEY DON'T SHOW UP. Any helpful info or tips would be greatly appreciated.
  4. 1) Yes, this mod will be free. 2) There is a warning programmed to tell your opponent that your game has a mod, thus leaving it up to them as to whether or not they want to play unfair. 3) No NAZI discounts. 4) Thin Red Line, you crack me up. (in case you couldn't tell, which you probably couldn't anyway, I was being sarcastic.) Put some more effort into your insults. " Farthest from a soldiers mind, is the memories of the eternal bliss of ignorance."
  5. White snow covers the ground, the ice that once was a lake, the trees and of course, the hidden Panzer Column. Why is it that when it snows, the turrets of these tanks are revealed, with no snow on top. Is this a bug, or is this purposely planned. Could it be that the designers chose to do this to reveal the tanks and make the game easier. If so, why would they render the tanks useless for the enemy, when this enemy was that of a brilliant strategic mind.
  6. I have been talking with my teacher from YGI (Youth Gaming International) and he has agreed to help me create a downloadable mod for CMBB. This mod allows for total de-bugging, and adds a few surprises, such as my very own fear effect. This allows the soldiers to have emotions ie: If a soldier is hit but keeps on going, he will slow down, and show pain by screaming whenever the wounded spot is in motion. Another example is: Say a squad is running forward, only to see a tank heading straight for them. You may order them to keep on running, but they probably won't because of fear. In total there are 11 emotions ranging from rage to lust. " Every soldier carried a wound. Not physical, but the emotions of war bottled up in their head."
  7. For all of you who replied I say "I am not full of it. Those who believe that modifying the game is impossible, it's really only mathamatically improbable. I work in computer game design, and am a student in an advanced real-time pace forum. If you are to question the very fact that I am right, then you ,my friends, are hypocrite's. All you need is a file splitter, a pentium 4, and 5 hours to spare. If you question the realism, without geometry, mathematics (because the impossible is only mathematically improbable) or simple attitude, you get the fact that bullets do turn corners. Such as the tracer AI. This gives the tracer a chance to choose its own path." " For those who question the interlect of others, should look in a mirror."
  8. I was playing CMBB last night and something caught my attention. My men were killed by sharpshooters. The thing that caught my attention was the fact that the sharpshooter got my men from around a corner. This means that the bullets must have turned the corner to hit my guys. This shows a fault in realism. On the other hand, the next time I found a sharpshooter I stood them in the open, and he didn't get one of my men. This also show a lack of computer AI. I found a way to make the sharpshooters like gods. A simple re-writing of a few program files, and my sharpshooters are razor sharp and the realism is fixed to perfection. Has anyone else encountered problems like this? And tell me, how sharp is too sharp?
  9. When I was playing CMBB, I'd issue my orders, then watch my men follow them. The problem is that my men run 5 yards ahead of where i tell them to, and my tanks keep getting stuck in weird places. What is going on? Is this a bug or something. I can't complete my first turn because of this.
