  1. There are also few, but really really small and annoying (at least to me) mistakes in the Finnish Infantry. For example, mostly Finnish Infantry is still using Lahti-Saloranta LMGs in the 1943-44. There are also DP27 LMGs in use, but it's too few! During the Contutiation war, the Finnish made Lahti-Saloranta were almost completely withdrawn from front-line duties, and replaced by captured Russian DP27 LMGs because it's much more reliable and packs more firepower (DP27 47 rounds clip against L-S26 20 rounds...) We even manufactuerd here in Finland spare parts and extra magazines to russian DPs. About the figures, something like the 90% of the front-line units LMGs were russian DP26s. As the Veterans say, the biggest supplier of Finnish army was the red army...
  2. As far as I know, Those tweaky little bastards were still used in recce-battallions in 1943, but after that they were withdrawn from front-line duty. This is a little off-topic, but Israelian troops encountered PZIV-series tanks used by Syrian army in 1967. Syrians used those mostly as mobile arty-bunkers. If I remember right, Finland abandoned StugIIIs in the early 1960s from the frontline use, and those were also moved to war time arty-bunker role. Last ones were withdrawn from that role in the early 1990s because the old 75mm ammo became obsolete and were counted not be safe to use anymore...
