Does the naval loop around South Africa work to fast?
It's only three turns.
A transport from Gibraltar through the Mediterranean to Alexandria also needs three turns.
A glance at a globe shows that the way around Africa is much longer. (five times?)
Wouldn't it make sense to make the naval loop last a little longer?

Yeah, their leaders were Ernest Hemingway, Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman.
They were supported by the communists and massacred occasionally Christians.
I leave it to JerseyJohn to explain the details.
BTW
Good to see you are free again. How did you do in Folsom Prison?

I've read in another thread, that some players think, the increase in war readiness for USA and USSR in case of an axis operation sea lion is an incentive for the allied player not to defend the British homeland properly.
Couldn't one change the script from a one time event to a script, that works repeatedly, as long as the UK capital is on the island and axis troops are there?
Example: Now US readiness increases 15% - 20% once. If this were 1% - 2% each turn, then the axis would benefit, if they could take the island faster then in 10 turns, and the allies would benefit, if they could hold on longer.
The numbers above are of course only for illustration. One could also make the probability of the repeated event less than 100%.

I think that the condition of the terrain (mud) and the zone of control also don't go into the calculation of the supply, although they influence unit movement.
See the somewhat artificial situation in the picture below.

That's not a specific weakness of the AT unit, because it is to kill as hard or as easy as an ordinary corps.Originally posted by Myrmidon:...
However AT guns ont he other hand seem rather poor, since it requires little effort to line up an infantry unit in front of it and blowing it to peaces.
...
I find ATs useful, even if they go frequently in the recycling queue. They are cheap to rebuild and they slow down the powerful tanks. Either the opponent avoids to attack them with his tanks, or he has to reinforce his tanks more often and pay the price.
I agree with your assessment, that artillery is strong. That's the way it should be, because it was strong in real life, too.
Artillery is especially useful to reduce the entrenchment of an unit in a fortress.
So far, I have use only the AA, that came with the Siberian reinforcement. I think it is useful. Since an (upgraded) air unit is expansive, an occasional hit now and then is enough, to justify the use of the AA in terms of MPP effectiveness.

HvS,
Yes, it costs you additional MPPs.
I tried to replace O'Connor (Rating 6) with Auchinleck (Rating 7) and the confirmation dialog asked me, if I want to spend 88 MPPs.
Btw, it is a little strange that O'Connor is also on the list of the HQs, from which to choose the replacement.

That's an odd thing.Originally posted by n0kn0k:I've received 1 key for downloading the bundle pack that I ordered.
That all worked fine, however when intalling both games it obviously requires 2 keys.
Where are those 2 keys? I've tried the key I got on SC2 but it doesn't work. It only works on WAW
I have also only one key for the bundle pack, but it works as expected with SC2 and WaW.

I noticed that in the Battle of the Bulge scenario tactical bombers and strategic bombers have different 3-D but the same 2-D Icons.
I use always the 2-D view, and I think I would prefer different 2-D Icons as well, to see at first glance, who is who.

I tried the WaW Demo today and I like the new map with its details.
There are only two bagatelles I want to report:
If I understand the ZOC rule correctly, then the active unit in the picture above shouldn't be able to move so far in the enemies camp as the highlighted tiles indicate.
Actually, when I tried the move, it was stopped by a previously unseen unit south east of Brussels.
And I think there is a rule that ships are safe from bad weather along the coastline.
I always assumed, that tiles adjacent to a port are also safe places.
Apparently I'm wrong, see picture below.

I made the same experience.
Therefore, I registered as a new customer.
From the mail that Battlefront sent to me I learned, that one has to login with e-mail and password.

Congratulations, Rambo, your friend has won the Nobel Peace Prize!

I also lost one e-License key when my hard disc crashed one year ago.
No problem, since I intend to buy the complete package for 45 $.

Don't be overmodest, Rambo, you aren't nobody.
When I play as Axis against the AI, I want the USA as strong as possible.
Makes more fun to beat them.

Poor Rambo, you have always to refer to a book written by others.
You don't dare to think for yourself and have your own opinion.
You are the slave of the thoughts of other people.
I pity you.

Chimpanzees use tools, can paint pictures and drive cars.
They can even organize wars against their neighbors.
IIRC, it was a dog who was the first creature in space before Yuri Gagarin surrounded the earth in a space ship.
Please give me an objective criterion by which I can check that you have a 'soul' and an animal hasn't.

1.) Does the wind exist?Originally posted by SeaMonkey:So I take it that PDF and others follow the assumption that if there is not physical evidence, something you can hold in your hand, then that entity doesn't exist?
Right?
Does Santa exist? Depends on your definition of "Santa", doesn't it?
Your preconceived notion from your conditioned thought processes leads to your conclusion?
Interesting that you are so knowledgeable that you can emphatically state that something exists or not.
What about "the wind" or the number "1", are they real? Perhaps they are just labels for something else?
What about your "feelings", they don't exist for me.
Take off the blinders.
I have no doubts that it exists. I can feel it right now.
2.) Does the number 1 exist?
What do you mean with 'exist'?
Obviously, the word 'exist' is used with different meanings.
Numbers don't exist physically in the same sense as the wind exists. They are a useful invention of the human mind to structure reality. So they 'exist' only in our mind.
3.) Does God exist?
What meaning of 'exist' do you use in this question?
What do you mean with the word 'God'?
4.) Generally, if someone claims that something 'exists', it is his obligation to prove that his claim is true.
Those, who doubt his claim, shouldn't assert that this something doesn't exist, but they should ask for a surefire proof.
Therefore, it is the duty of the 'theist' to make clear what he means, before the 'atheist' can join the debate.
5.) There are people like Rambo, (and I know some of them personally), who talk about 'God' as if they have met Him face-to-face, they seem to know so much about Him, His intentions and doings.
But when I ask them to let me participate in their knowledge, they can only quote old books and old myths.
For lack of personal experience, these people suggest one should simply believe. But I haven't heard a convincing reason, why it is better to believe the 'theists' than to believe the 'atheists'.
6.) Therefore, I have decided to stay an ignorant and wait, until the debate is decided.

@ Rambo
You don't have to believe in evolution, you can watch it.
Go to a supermarket and compare the tomatoes there with those that you ate when you were a child.
You should note a difference.

@ Rambo,
Dude, you're a loser.
Your arguments are getting worse every time I read your posts.
You try to play two roles at the same time: The pastor who preaches the bible and the Rambo-capitalist, who cares a **** about others.
But these two roles don't fit together.

@ Rambo
Now you are entitled to follow in Bobby Fischer's footsteps and write a book:
“My Sixty Memorable Games”

@ Rambo,
You let history start where it fits to you, right?
There were causes, why Austria DOW Serbia.
In modern terminology: Serbia supported terrorists.
And we know what the larger countries do in such a case.

xwormwood,
Of course I didn't want to take away any credit from the founders of the Jewish state.
They had their plans and it is remarkable what they accomplished.
My objections go in two directions:
1) I have the impression, that Rambo tries to prove the authority of the bible by its successful prophecies.
In the case of Israel, that's a logical error, IMO.
So I ask Rambo to use better arguments.
2) Generally, I think it isn't a good idea to take old books and myths and prophecies as the source to construct the future.
As we have seen, prophecies may become true.
And there are a lot of disastrous ideas in the lore.
I think it's better to be open-minded and in touch with todays reality than to rely on the ideas of other people from long ago.
Production

To a certain extent, the effect of faster production is already implemented through cheaper production.
Given the same MPP income and better production technology, you can build more units in the same time span.
