If the reason for the ridiculous amount of screenshots (ParaBellum, Mike8 you guys are the best!) is lack of web space for hosting then I got to mingle with MS Front Page for the first time and I think I got it, so...
Anybody with screenshots can send them to falkao@netmadeira.com, I'll put them in my webspace and I'll post them here in this topic, or just give you the address to my page...
Test pic to see if this works ...
Guess so
Cmon guys... screenshots, plz...

Is it possible or legal to post/e-mail the pdf manual file so that we poor european sods who dont have cmbb yet can have something to read/drool over while we wait?

I think the link is wrong, it points to the t-34 file...
Great job nonetheless!

Got it, its a 38M Toldi

Parabellum thanks a million for posting those pics, I know it must be hard posting pics while you could be playing... we unfortunate ones who dont have cmbb yet appreciate it...
PS anyone knows what that hungarian tank is? Its not a Turan... is it a Skoda 35?

No IS-3s in 1941?
I would never have guessed...
Dont tell me there are no m1a2 Abrams in 1945?
-
can anybody with the game tell me if the IS-3 is included? Bitte? (screenshot perhaps... )

Thats what I call premature ejaculation...But in here, it is just a place where everyone can release their initial orgasm and then move on. -
What I really meant was: Can I design an operation (more interested in operations) and instead of buying and deploying troops, just establish deploy zones and specify an amount of points, a nationality and a troop type so that there is an amount of uncertainty...
But I guess it is not possible...
Thanks anyway...

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to add a certain degree of randomness to forces in a battle/operation designed with the editor? For example, is it possible to define a number of points and a type of force and have the computer select them? Or give a certain possibility that the unit will/will not appear in the battle/operation?
Once again sorry if this has already been debated...

I think I will start a custom operation in June 1941 as the Germans... then using my adaptation of wreck's rules take them all the way to 1945! Minsk... Kiev... Moscow... Izyum... Stalingrad... Kharkov... Kursk... Korsun... Op.Bagration... Balaton... Berlin... *salivates in anticipation*
Should keep me busy until the gold demo of cm3 comes out

The best thing in the review are the 3 new pictures...
Thats a s***tload of sd/kfz 251s...
-
Karch, that was exactly what I had in mind, keeping same map and using units already in the demo I guess one could fiddle around with it...
BFC, bone? Please?

I dont know if this has been brought up or is otherwise possible but:
Could you US gamers, once you receive the game, use the editor to do some variations of the demo scenarios (more armor, combined arms, change attacker and defender, minor changes to maps, etc...) and post them so we poor europeans can take some consolation and play "different" scenarios until our copies of cmbb arrive (mid-late October i guess)
I could imagine a nice armor vs armor variation of Citadel with IIIm and IVh vs KV1s and t34/76 m1940 (I know, unhistorical, but fun nonetheless)
-
Maybe someone could make an adaptation of the rules to include armor in the core force, since the experience the unit gets for its kills had to be reduced, unless you want a tank unit rising from green to crack having killed, for example 12 men, 3 tanks and one gun... (63 experience points) and perhaps a different way to calculate experience loss for crew casualities...
Just an idea...
Or even better, an excel spreadsheet or some other program that handled all calculations for you...

Thanks everybody for the quick and enlightning answers...
Looking forward to playing with you (against you) in my politically-correct western-european CMBB copy

I was just wondering (and sorry if this has already been covered on another thread) if due to the relevant part played by russian/german/hungarian cavalry in this theatre it will be present in the final release of CMBB...
Thanks
