[Radeon slowdown bug]

that little proggie got me up and running

now running at 1024x768 with all details on...smooth as silk

i actually CAN play this thing now

this is my rig:

1.2 ghz t-bird

256 ram

radeon ve 32 meg

win 98 SE

the cmbb demo runs like crap...jerky as hell at 1024x768 with all the trees, details, etc turned down to minimum.

what's the deal? is it my video card? need more ram? if i turn it down to 800x600 it runs fairly smooth but the "jaggies" are horrible to look at.

my brother has a 1 gig tbird 512 meg ram and a 32 meg g-force 2 GTS and his runs smoothly...so that leads me to think its my vid card or the ram (but he also runs XP...that couldn't be it could it?)

anyone with a Radeon VE getting the same probs?

any suggestions
