wow..thanks for the tips guys that little proggie got me up and running now running at 1024x768 with all details on...smooth as silk i actually CAN play this thing now

hi this is my rig: 1.2 ghz t-bird 256 ram radeon ve 32 meg win 98 SE the cmbb demo runs like crap...jerky as hell at 1024x768 with all the trees, details, etc turned down to minimum. what's the deal? is it my video card? need more ram? if i turn it down to 800x600 it runs fairly smooth but the "jaggies" are horrible to look at. my brother has a 1 gig tbird 512 meg ram and a 32 meg g-force 2 GTS and his runs smoothly...so that leads me to think its my vid card or the ram (but he also runs XP...that couldn't be it could it?) anyone with a Radeon VE getting the same probs? any suggestions

i'll give ya $2000 CDN for it...works out to be about $19.95 USD ...im still running a Radeon VE BLAH!

just as an aside... anyone else notice the "without permission" thingie under the main body of text in the picture? What, are the sneaky buggers putting text on the page that only comes up if the page is scanned? Just wondering.
