If thats the case then I want my pre-order $ back!Originally posted by Andreas:[QB]The following three reasons would have made me shell out money, even if all else had stayed the same between CMBB and CMBO. They are the reasons I will never go back to CMBO.
1. Completely revamped penetration model for rounds. No longer will a 2-pdr take out a Panther from the side with one shot

Ok tank grogs, I'm curious about how Russian SPGs (SUs, etc...) were actually used as opposed what they were intended for. I am wondering if these were most useful on defense as mobile ATGs and on offense as mobile direct-fire support platforms. That's mostly how I used German SPGs in CMBO. Thanks for any input, historical, opinion or otherwise.

You wear underwear when your playing CMBO? Weirdo!Originally posted by Boo_Radley:How I will play CMBB
I will probably play CMBB much like I play CMBO;
usually in my underwear, drunk, with a liberal dusting of Cheeze Doodle shrapnel covering my stomach. Sad...so very, very sad...

Was it just me or did anyone else hear "Battle Hymn of the Rebublic" while reading Commanders original post?

While were at it, what about pooping. I've yet to see a WWII game model pooping realistically. I demand to know if this will be in the final version of CMBB (or will I have to wait for CMBM for that?)!

Pretty much depends on how much HE ammo I have to spare on the squishy thingies.

A bowl or blow of borsht?Originally posted by Boo_Radley:How can we be expected to totally immerse ourselves into the experience of the game without a good hearty bolw of borsht?
If you want a blow of borsht just open your mouth and I'll give you a wad of it!

Sounds like a personal problem to me!Originally posted by Gpig:[QB]Are you kidding me?
If the Demo is THIS good, I'm going to poop(sicle) my pants when the full game arrives.

And where's the damn sheep? We were specifically promised sheep in the demo. There better damn bloddy well be hordes and flocks o' sheep in the full game.

Plus 10% of your troops have to stop once they enter and have sex....(that is if you believe the book "War of the Rats").

Al, I live in LA and would gladly allow you to have BTS ship it to me and I'll "hold" on to it until you can swing by and pick it up!

I played this scenarion as the Germans and despite the fact that I squeeked out a victory I was never able to kill any T-34s as he kept them out of reach from infantry. I would say that that is an improvement over CMBO, IMO.Originally posted by The ol one eye.:Playing as the Germans in the tutorial and Yelnia I have yet to see tanks leading in with infantry far behind, if that little problem is fixed, its an improvement.

Yelnia Stare (spelling?) scenario, 2 tank hunter teams (GERMAN) have magnetic anti-tank mines as well as grenade bundles.Originally posted by Gryphon:I didn't see any mines on the German side, only grenade bundles and the pazerwurfmine?
Regards,
Gryphon
I agree w/ the likelyhood that a grenade bundle would have been placed rather than thrown (or mabye a very short toss) but understand why it was necessary for BTS to model them being thrown for simplicity. Glad to hear that someone had success though. Both my teams were killed at 100 meteres by a T-34 while they were still hiding in their fox holes. Never got close. Maybe when the get in some urban combat as mentioned above I'll see the buggers work.
