ASL is not a game you can just jump into. ASL has a starter kit, you might find it a little more
enjoyable.

I've just found this video online which will be a great start for new players of this game:
One thing I'd like to add is that when playing as the Entente I always invest heavily in Diplomacy, providing the situation allows, as this can be a very good way of hitting Germany's morale and income without having to lose any men in the process.
Watching the video makes me feel like playing.
Before I dive in (again), I would like to know if people still play this game?
I remember liking this game much more than SC 2

Looks like I misplaced one (one out of 6) of my SC CD's.
SC is out...I guess I will have to compare the two games.
Funny how one CD will blow the entire game.
OOPS, wrong game! I can still play SC WWI hoorah!!!

Just a big thanks to BFC.
Been around a long time. I'm a lot quieter now than I was back in college when I chanced upon this series from an article previewing "Computer ASL" in some forum or another...
After nearly 15 years of playing and enjoying Combat Mission games I think it's worthwhile to just say a simple thank you.
There's plenty to grouse about, but at the root is still love for this game series and the company that continues to put them out.

I am not familiar with either of these two games.
No worries, I am a lifer...love Battlefront games.
P.S. Just wish I could get CMAK working on my new computer :-(

Was looking for a beer game (link) that was posted in the General Discussion forum some years ago.
A guy was sitting on a bench at a buss stop with a big busted women sitting next to him.
The object was to stare at her boobs long enough for the beer glass to fill up.
If she caught you staring you lose. You turn your head away before she turns her head in your direction to catch you staring...fill the glass of beer before the buss comes.

I was flipping through the forums and I do not see too much activity.
Is there any games with multiple players?
Empire of Steel looked OK, but it looks as if nobody plays that anymore.
I'm OK with 1v1 games. Would rather enjoy a game with multiple players..any ideas?

Somebody Cheats you so you feel you must cheat in return.
This is not good.
Anybody who has played me for the first time might think this of me (re-loading).
I am likely to run my units deep into enemy lines not to worry about supply or anything else.
You can ask anybody who has ever played me. Either pbem or tcip.
I think it funny when I am playing somebody who never runs there units too far from the front, then all of a sudden they run out through enemy territory to capture a vacant city or Capital. One game I suspected my opponent of Doing this. So I left Paris open to see if he would run his units up and liberate Paris. Hoping that he would (never could have known Paris was vacant).
While my saving Grace would be to recapture Paris and See France Fall. assumed every time Paris fell there would be a % that France would fall.
Thought of calling them on it but Simply did not care because they veered from there strategy. It would only hurt them in the long run. Nobody can run there guys as wildly as I can. on occasion I have beat some good players. one game Against Rambo I had French units In Warsaw! Before Warsaw ever fell.
Doing this against the AI is most effective. doing it against a veteran player might not turn out so good. Unless they differ from their original strategy to pay you back for the supposed cheat.
It must be all you newbies that are so worried about this reload crap.
Get over it and play the Game. Whom ever it is and for what ever reason you cheat you are only cheating yourself. No reason to cheat not for any reason! It means you are not a gamer and will never be one.

Hello Kuni, Can't seem to find the time to play SC anymore. Yet I still purchase everything that comes out of Battlefront.
Have all these game Sitting in there boxes still. Maybe SC3 will get me going again.

Middle of the night and I was bored.
Had to wonder why Hubert and my guy were Green. I searched for an hour or more and did not find a soul that was Green.
Then yuz gots to wonder why Hubert Is on line at three in the morning?
I believe the guys at Battlefront Don't allow Hubert to sleep.
